March 17...The Most Powerful Healing New Moon of the Year!

March 17, the New Moon is Pisces is going to be the most powerful healing New Moon of the year. Let's delve right in.

Author Alex Myles, a qualified yoga and Tibetan meditation teacher, Reiki Master, spiritual coach and also the author of An Empath wrote an amazing article on tomorrow's New Moon in Pisces...

"On March 17th at 11 a.m. EST, the sun, the new moon, and the planetoid Chiron will all be together in the sensitive zodiac sign of Pisces.

This may sound cozy as Chiron is immensely healing, Pisces is intuitive, soft, and sensual, and the sun is warm, energizing, and illuminating. However, the moon will be at its darkest and in its shadow stage. This means that any painful lessons that we have tried to ignore and deny will be forcing their way to the surface, and they won’t disappear, so we’ll have no option but to confront and deal with them."

And all this will be enhanced as Jupiter is in retrograde, as we talked about last week. Remember...While in Scorpio, Jupiter retrograde is a time to revisit the past and contemplate re-doing the things that you regret doing incorrectly (or not doing at all).

I would try to explain in my own words, but Alex writes with such clarity and simplicity, so I'll be reading parts of her article.

She writes, "Emotional and sensitive Pisces will be doing its best to highlight our unhealed emotional wounds, fears, and insecurities. But thankfully, Chiron is right on hand to offer empathy, compassion, and gentle, soothing, loving care.

During this new moon we will likely notice we feel pulled toward others in the hope that they will do the work for us and validate our irrational thoughts and feelings, even though it would benefit us more if we worked on self-love and self-acceptance as a way of calming our ego.

Low self-esteem is one of the major issues that will be arising on this new moon, even for those who think they are self-confident and self-assured. Therefore, we will notice that the collective energy is one that is seeking out external support, encouragement, and guidance, rather than learning how to find and embrace these things within ourselves.

Whenever the sun and moon are in close transition to Chiron we receive the opportunity to notice what is causing us the most amount of emotional pain, and to see exactly where our pain is rooted.

The majority of the wounds that Chiron awakens us to are the ones that began in our early childhood or adolescent years, so they are often firmly embedded in, causing us to feel like they are part of who we are. The moment we notice exactly what is causing so much hurt and anguish within our psyche, we create a tremendous shift that propels us on a healing journey so we can rationally process what we went through, why we are still holding on to underlying emotions and beliefs, and, most importantly, how we can transcend through it to reach a place of inner peace and bliss.

Although it may seem easier to distract ourselves and not pay attention to what goes on below the surface, when we ignore our core wounds, all that happens is they will cry out for attention in a variety of harmful ways, and this results in trauma and destruction in many of our personal relationships. We will subconsciously keep replaying the same stories over and again in the hope that whatever is upset, rejected, suppressed, or angry on the inside will eventually get the chance to be heard, healed, and freed.

Chiron is the exact energy needed to dig in deep and softly touch the areas that are raw and tender, as parts of us have felt lost and abandoned while we distracted ourselves within the busyness of life. We may have tried to mask or numb these aching aspects of our internal selves by turning to toxic relationships, alcohol, drugs, or addictions of various kinds that may seem harmless at first glance, but on a soul level are serving to sustain the damage we have held for years.

Chiron is here to support our personal growth so that we shift from wounded, pain-filled beings into free-spirited, light-hearted, carefree souls, purely through the realization and fearless self-acceptance that our shadowy dark side—that we keep hidden—is nothing to feel scared of or ashamed about. We can reach in and hold out a hand to our inner child that has sat in the darkness tortured by abandonment and rejection. Slowly we can gain the trust of the parts of ourselves that we have pushed away and dismissed, and we can offer an unconditionally loving embrace to show that we accept each part of ourselves; the dark, the light, and every shade in between.

When we are entering a healing phase, it is vital that we nurture and nourish ourselves, and as water is a powerful healing element we can enhance our healing by indulging ourselves by soaking in an Epsom Salt bath and adding a soothing essential oil, or if possible going somewhere where it is possible to bathe outdoors under the starlit sky."

Oooo, that sounds inviting!

"If we are staying indoors during the new moon we can put on music that speaks to our soul and relax fully knowing that we are safe, supported, and held in the lunar energy that is emanating from above. Once we feel settled and peaceful we can then ask the questions we have been longing to find answers to, so we connect to our innermost desires. When we locate what our heart longs for, we will also then discover what painful emotions are creating resistance, and from there we will find a way to heal the wounds that have caused us to be weighed down and to remain stuck, repeating similar scenarios for so long.

All that is needed is silence, faith, and the fearlessness to travel inward knowing that whatever is unveiled during this healing process is perfectly acceptable, as we are all divine beings and we are all already perfect and precious—regardless of the stories our critical mind might tell.

This Pisces new moon, with Chiron’s healing influence, is the greatest opportunity for wound-healing we will receive throughout this entire year. It is a temporary portal that allows us access to the darkest parts of our soul, but to enter, we have to take a deep breath, be willing to be vulnerable, and bravely dive in to the core of our being."

Using Colette Baron-Reid's "Wisdom of the Hidden Realms" card deck, I pulled some cards for a reading for our New Moon in Pisces.

This is a general reading intended for those who watch this Facebook Live. If you'd like a personal New Moon reading, please contact me for details.

This reading involves 7 questions and curiously I was given 9 cards. <G>

1. Where do we stand?

For this I was given 2 cards...

The Diamond Dreamer #6

which is about material wealth, true prosperity

Ally

"When the Diamond Dreamer arrives, he represents the successful manifestation of the unseen into the material. Be sure you truly want what you think you desire, for this Ally will commit to getting it for you. All manner of conditions will flow around you; messages from Spirit will serve to guide you toward achieving your heart's desire. If you want a house, you'll be led to it. If your priority is a new job, with the right continual steps, you will achieve this. If you desire a more harmonious relationship, the measures needed to create this will be obvious.

A project finally pays off. Material gain and positive financial shifts may also be on the way. You will, indeed, see the tangible results of your ambition. The Diamond Dreamer also serves to guide you to the appropriate choices so that the unseen is awakened to move mountains on your behalf.

Positive communication is now possible in all your relationships."

And for that same question, I was also given...

The Spiral Dancer #5

circuitous route, perception

Ally

"The Spiral Dancer moves with her own rhythm and steps to music only she can hear. She takes you on a path that is winding and circular. She assures you that what you're experiencing as a setback is really part of an upward spiral. Perception is everything: you're not retracing steps or going backward, but rather around and up. She says that you can be comforted, knowing that your path is one of success, adventure and experience. Follow her, for she dances along a magical way.

If you're asking about a relationship, keep on dancing and magic will soon happen. Also, it's okay to allow someone else to take the lead at this time. Make sure to let others know that you're open. Always remember that relationships are mirrors and will show you the past, the present, and the potential future.

All relationships have a destiny. Each is a sacred teacher with valuable lessons to share, even if it appears that the two of you are dancing in different directions. All the steps are perfect, even when you may seem to be stumbling. The Spiral Dancer is a reminder that destiny's true path is seldom straight."

And so with both "The Spiral Dancer" and "The Diamond Dreamer", we are called to again look within, to examine where we are going, where we have been, where we want to go. It's an invitation to delve deep.

2. What do we need to let go of?

The Hawk Prince #11

Spirit communication, paying attention

Ally

"The Hawk Prince appears with good news: He flies into your life to alert you that a message is coming to help you manifest your destiny! Expect a phone call, letter, e-mail, or conversation that lets you know the next step to take toward your greatest good, or to tell you that you've arrived at an important stage along your path.

The Hawk Prince is also the Ally for Spirit communication, so pay attention when you think you hear something important pop out at you on the radio, on TV, or in overhearing the conversations of strangers. Spirit is constantly in dialogue with you. Are you listening?

Stay open and expect Spirit to speak to you and show you the way to your prosperity in all aspects of your life."

I was a little surprised about why we would need to let go of this, but again looking back on what we are being called to with this New Moon in Pisces, is to stop; be still; to be open and to stay open and to expect Spirit to speak to us. It's to let go of any of those expectations that we might...any of those other expectations that we might have, and to expect Spirit to speak to us and to show us the way.

3. Looking back: What does not serve us?

The Queen of the Light #15

illumination, enlightenment, celebration

Ally

And the guide book says, "The Queen of the Light is a beautiful Ally and comes into your life to herald success in all your ventures. She illuminates the most important steps on your path and reminds you of your own brilliance. You're intelligent and inspired, and all your needs will be met. Remember that you're the instrument of the Divine shining through you in this world. You're on the correct path for your highest good.

The Queen also brings you insight into how you manifest your reality in the most miraculous ways. She promises that you'll be shown the next right action and celebrates you as you stand brilliant, joyful, and enlightened in the present time. You've worked hard to come this far. You can be proud to stand tall in your conviction that in your heart of hearts, you know the truth of your situation.

Rewards for your perseverance and willingness to learn are on their way. Gratitude and acceptance are key today."

This card surprised me as well, but with this New Moon in Pisces, it's the dark, the shadow that will lead us to the painful lessons that we have tried to ignore and deny. They will be forcing their way to the surface, and they won’t disappear, so we’ll have no option but to confront and deal with them. So it's not surprising then, that the Queen of the Light does not serve us at this time. It's in the dark, the shadowy places that we will learn those painful lessons that we need to know. We need to trust in the wisdom of the Divine. Chiron, the wounded Healer, will help us. Don't be afraid. Have courage and faith to delve deep. This is our time.

4. Blessing: What is going to help?

Gaia's Garden #18

fruition, abundance, reaping what you sow

Ally

"In Gaia's Garden, you have everything you need to make your dreams come true. There is no shortage of anything, and you're constantly reminded of the Law of Supply.

Gaia is the infinite Spirit manifest in all tangible things. She represents the abundance of Nature. When she comes to you as your Ally, she invites you to partake of all the blessings of Life. There will always be enough for everyone. Success comes to you from the fruits of your intentions, and all is well with the world as a result.

This is also a sign to remind you to give thanks and maintain an attitude of humility and gratitude as your greatest good now manifests for you. Gaia's gifts are sweeter when you share them with others."

5. What does our heart want?

The Ice Queen #28

ideas preserved, nonaction, entitlement

Ally

"The Ice Queen has come to block your movement for your highest good. Let your ideas be preserved until later. You can thaw them out and use them at another time when they will best serve.

The realm of the Ice Queen is the place of nonaction, and now is a perfect time to take a look at how far you've come and to ask yourself for a reclarification of your highest goals. Not all your plans can be accomplished at this moment. In fact, putting them on ice allows for the perfect timing later on. Don't be too hasty in trying to reach your goal. An even better one will present itself if you surrender and spend the winter with the Ice Queen.

Perhaps, too, you're trying to do too many things at once. This is a good occasion to choose only one thing to focus on and let the Ice Queen put the others in the deep freeze until a more appropriate time. She'll let you know when it's time to let them thaw."

This is a powerful time when we are being invited to nurture and love and accept ourselves, to go deep with courage and faith. As Alex wrote, "to shift from wounded, pain-filled beings into free-spirited, light-hearted, carefree souls, purely through the realization and fearless self-acceptance that our shadowy dark side—that we keep hidden—is nothing to feel scared of or ashamed about. We can reach in and hold out a hand to our inner child that has sat in the darkness tortured by abandonment and rejection. Slowly we can gain the trust of the parts of ourselves that we have pushed away and dismissed, and we can offer an unconditionally loving embrace to show that we accept each part of ourselves; the dark, the light, and every shade in between."

6. What is our next big step?

and for this one, I was gifted with 2 cards and they are both connected.

The Prison Waif #31

which is about self-sabotage, poverty consciousness

Ally

"When the Prison Waif arrives in his realm as your Ally, he comes to remind you of the Law of Paradoxical Intent. Your own self-sabotaging thoughts and hidden beliefs are, in fact, preventing you from your highest good. You might believe that you're doing all you can to manifest your reality, but perhaps you're giving in to thoughts such as the following:

- I can't do this.

- I'm unworthy.

- I'll fail, so why try?

- I don't deserve this.

- I'm unlovable.

In fact, you're locked in a prison of your own making.

That's good news, because it means you have the key to let yourself out. This is a sign that you need to spend some time with yourself addressing those beliefs that counter your hard work to get ahead. You can change them if you want to. You don't want to stay in prison, do you?

Take inventory of your thoughts, let yourself out of jail, and spend a few minutes outdoors in gratitude. It's time to let the sunshine in."

This time of Chiron, the New Moon, the Sun, all in Pisces...it's a time to let the sunshine in and let the healing begin. Take the time. YOU'RE worth it!

I was also gifted with...

The Sun Dancers #32

which is about joyful activity, celebration of life, abundance

Ally

The guide says, "As your Ally, the Sun Dancers celebrate you now and remind you of the laws of success and praise. Anything you place your attention on will manifest an experience, so the laws are always perfect. Expect the best and praise it in advance. This unleashes the magic of mystical magnetic energy, drawing circumstances to you to create the reality you envision.

(It's the Law of Attraction.)

Give thanks in advance for the grace and goodwill of the Divine. Be willing to dance the victory dance as if your greatest dreams are realized, and watch how easily things begin to fall into place. Stay positive and leave the timing up to the Divine. All things are possible now. Dance the joy of being, and celebrate your life and abundance today!"

7. What is our next small step?

The Wise Woman of Wonderland #21

which is about integrity, compromise

Ally

"The Wise Woman of Wonderland brings integrity to thought, word, and deed. She lets you know that as long as you're in the flow of honesty and being true to your word, she keeps you under her protection and care.

When she appears as your Ally, she signals a time when honesty pays off, yielding greater dividends than you expected. You'll be thankful that you remained faithful and loyal to your path. She reminds you that compromise isn't always an option. Stay true to yourself first and foremost. Although it may appear that you could lose something as a result, you can never lose what is truly yours."

This is all sooo interesting. When I was given these cards at first, I didn't understand why we'd be given "The Hawk Prince" for the question, "What do we need to let go of?" Why "The Queen of the Light" for the question, "Looking back: What does not serve us?" Why "The Ice Queen" for the question, "What does our heart want?" and why "Prison Waif" for the question, "What is our next big step?"

I thought that there must be some sort of mistake, that somehow I'd gotten it wrong.

Then a friend shared Alex's article with me and it all made sense.

Such a blessed time to be in.

For me, the past few weeks have been leading me on this inner journey. Old wounds have resurfaced...growing up with the belief/fear of not having enough...particularly around money...well-learned from my mother...blaming her...the shame and overwhelm of having debt, of not being responsible with money...the fear of managing money and feeling stupid for not managing it wisely...I am a smart person. Why is money so unmanageable for me?...remembering clearly the time when my mother called me "stupid". It was worse than being slapped. Deep wounds.

Listening to interviews with Margaret Lynch and Iyanla Vanzant in the 2018 World Tapping Summit helped me to revisit these wounds with faith and courage, and to begin to tell a new story. It helped me to look at these wounds again and to have the courage to talk about them and to seek help. I CAN be a good money manager and I DO want to pay off my debt. This is the beginning of telling a new story, of nurturing, accepting and loving myself through this, and to quit looking for others to rescue me. And the irony of all this made me laugh the other day...my mother worked as a credit manager! And she was good at her job. I think that I can learn to be good at it too.
