Oh my! January 28! So much going on in the heavens today. Not only do we have a Full Moon in Leo at 2:16 p.m. EST, but it's opposite the Sun, Jupiter and Pluto in Aquarius, and it's T-Squaring (90 degrees) Uranus, Mars and Black Moon Lilith in Taurus. Though the energies may be challenging, let's embrace the gifts that Leo has for us, no matter what our Sun sign might be.
*
With our Moon in fiery, dramatic, creative, centre of attention Leo, it's a warm, generous, loving playful position that speaks to our "inner child". The pride of the Lion can keep us from pettiness, but it can also prevent us from opening up and sharing how we truly feel. It's a time when we seek attention, wanting to stand out for our special gifts and talents. It's a great time to engage in creative activities, working and playing with our children, expressing our generosity, and taking risks. Be bold! Be proud! On the bright side, we are more exuberant, creative, open-minded, colourful and fun-loving. On the dark side, we may be more self-indulgent, self-centered, overbearing and bullying. The choice is ours.
*
And we mustn't be surprised if we find ourselves more easily in tune with our deeper issues. Leo is all about the heart. This Full Moon invites us to listen to our heart and soul, to embrace our truth, to surrender to what is, to speak our truth, setting up healthy boundaries, letting go of what is no longer serving us, especially where we may have been trying to please others rather than taking care of ourselves. It's time to take care of ourselves. Embrace and nurture the child within. DO YOU! It's a call to be our authentic self, not what others expect us to be. That's where our true treasure lies. It's time to be rigorously honest and to act completely from our heart.
*
When we are clear about our priorities, we're able to make room in our life for what matters most. Remembering, though, that it's not all up to us. It's about trust, surrendering to what is, being open to the blessings that Spirit has for us, co-creating with Spirit. Taking the time for ourselves. Slow down, breathe, meditate, listen to our heart and soul, trust our intuition.
*
We must also be aware that whatever intentions we planted during the New Moon will now begin to grow and bear fruit, and we may find ourselves dealing with challenges or challenging people. It’s a time to re-examine our goals and ideals, and to see what’s working and what isn’t. How are the intentions that we set at our New Moon on Jan. 12 working out for us? Are there things that we need to tweak or change in order to reach our goals? * It’s a time to have courage, to push through tough situations, to embrace any necessary changes. This can be a time of transformation, a wonderful time to discover the treasure in the challenges.
*
And so I asked Spirit, "What does our Full Moon in Leo want us to know for our highest good?" and was gifted with...TWO CARDS!!!!
9 of Fire
*
Caution, uncertainty, re-evaluating circumstances
*
I need to stop, wait, and look around me before proceeding further. My sense of uncertainty is my inner wisdom telling me to bring illumination to my situation, to allow insights to arise and guide me before I take my next step. Questioning is good! I will look carefully to see if a different path may be right for me at this point.
*
AND
Ace of Fire
*
Spirit-powered action, inspired transformation, access to co-creative power
*
When I feel my connection to Spirit, I see unlimited potential for transformation. There is no reason to fear because I am supported fully in imagining something new and daring to make it happen. This is a time to dream big. I can be bold and free because Spirit inspires me to turn my dreams into reality.

from Colette Baron-Reid's "The Good Tarot" card deck
*
We can't make this stuff up! Both cards are so fitting for this Full Moon in Leo! Take the message that's right for you!
*
9 of Fire is a call to pause and to question. We need to move forward with caution. This may show up if we've been taking lots of action and haven't really done the planning needed. Stop, pause and question...to bring illumination for our next move.
*
Ace of Fire is about Spirit, power, action. It's about an awareness that we are connected to Spirit, that we can co-create with Spirit. We have the power to take action here. We carry the light with us. It's about leading by example, being the Light bearer, and also trusting that we're not doing this by ourselves. Spirit does have our backs. Act as if we trust that it is true. When Ace of Fire shows up, not only are we going in the right direction, it's encouraging us, reminding us that Spirit has our back! Whatever we've been imagining or creating, it's important. Step forward with confidence! We have unlimited power for transformation. We can change our world in amazing ways.
