Energy Forecast for the Week of April 23, 2023: Weavers Watch the Dragons Fly! (That's Interesting!)

Greetings, everyone! Welcome to our energy forecast for the week ahead.

What do Spirit, our angels, guides, and light workers want us to know for our highest good for the week ahead?

From Colette Baron-Reid’s newest oracle card deck, The Dream Weaver’s Oracle, we are gifted with 41 – Weavers Watch the Dragons Fly.

From the guide book…

*

Essential meaning: being the observer, curiosity, seeing the big picture, not taking anything personally

*

Sometimes we get so involved in our feelings about things we begin to believe we are those emotions. They become part of our identity, part of our story forever. Instead of understanding the transience of opinions, we become trapped by our beliefs about the world and our part in it. Those ideas harden and stiffen until they form a tight container around our possibilities. While a container can be a good thing, we can find ourselves trapped in an old story.

*

A good question to ask now about the subject you want this oracle to illuminate is, “What am I making this mean?” What if you removed your assumptions? What if nothing is ever personal? Now is the time to look at your situation and see it for what it is, step back and look at the bigger picture, remain neutral and curious, and be willing to explore it from a different perspective. There is so much more to discover here, so it’s important not to get caught up in being right or getting caught in the smallest details that obscure a more expansive potential.

*

Even in the most joyful times, you still run the risk of thinking it will always be that way, when everything will change and evolve, even transcend this “forever place,” because that is the truth of life. You’re on a beautiful journey, and if you remain open and hopeful, and willing to discover things that are unknown to you, that gift of curiosity will lead you to treasure beyond your wildest dreams.

*

Like the Dream Weavers watch the dragons fly, so should you observe your inner and outer worlds in the same manner. When you really learn to pay attention and can say, “That’s interesting!” the hidden doors of perception swing wide. Such wisdom has always lived inside you. Did you know you were so fortunate? Stay open.

*

Whoa! Great wisdom, especially with all that has happened this past week.

With the powerful events of the New Moon and Total Solar Eclipse in Aries, the Sun entering Taurus, and Mercury Retrograde in Taurus, we will be dealing with these powerful energies in the coming weeks and months.

*

*

April 24- Sun Conjunct North Node in Taurus

*

In astrology, the North Node will help us find our way home. The North Node and South Node of the Moon are points that are directly opposite each other. They are not planetary bodies; rather, they are mathematical points that take into account the relationship between the Sun, Moon, and Earth at the time of our birth.

*

The North Node represents the kinds of experiences that we must work to develop in order to grow spiritually. Consciously working on these life lessons can bring us increased happiness and fulfillment. The South Node represents those experiences and qualities that come naturally to us, that are over-developed, and that we tend to fall back on. The South Node can be a point of undoing unless we develop our North Node experiences and qualities.

*

Taurus season brings a call for renewal, a call for transformation in the areas of home, finances and relationships, with ourselves and with others, and it may bring feelings of unworthiness or not being good enough.

*

With Mercury Retrograde in Taurus, we’re being asked to review these areas of our lives, and we may find ourselves questioning our values, finances or relationships, seeing things through new eyes and with a new understanding.

*

Now add the North Node into this mix. Have there been experiences where we have been called to re-evaluate, re-examine, perhaps even choose new ways of embracing the themes of security, wealth, abundance, and self-worth in our lives? What is most important to us? What do we truly value the most? Family? Money? Health? Love? How are we at giving and receiving Love, Abundance, all the good things that we are do deserving of? Perhaps we are generous givers, but not so good at receiving. It’s time for that to change. We ARE worthy…of Love, of Joy, of wealth, of abundance, of forgiveness, of compassion, and so much more.

How have we grown? Have we been able to cherish the Love that we are, learning to take better care of ourselves, and yes, even dare we say it…putting our own needs first? As admirable as it may be to put others’ needs first, all the Heavenly energies are nudging us to love ourselves just as we are and to put our needs first. It’s not selfish. It’s crucial! Remember: we can’t give from an empty cup. When we love and accept who we truly are, then we will be able to love and accept others as they truly are. For indeed, WE ARE ONE, and together, miracles will happen. Peace will reign. Heaven will be revealed before our very eyes here on Earth.

*

The Moon represents our emotional body and will be changing signs 3 times this coming week.

April 24 – Moon enters Cancer

With our Moon in Cancer, it’s in the quiet, nurturing sign that it rules.

This sign brings out the best qualities of Moon - fidelity, patience and understanding.

*

The focus will be on home, family, safety, security, our ancestry, our foundations, coming Home to ourselves. Sound familiar? We are being gifted with the opportunity to make important changes in our lives. It's time to see the truth and make a new start. The real work is to embrace the truth that our heart wants us to know, to love it and make peace with it without shame or condemnation. Our shadow may hold the parts of ourselves that we don't like, but it also holds our wild, bold, fiery, powerful side, that part of us that wants to be set free. This is a crucial time to listen to our heart and soul and be open to the Love of the Divine.

*

This is a time when we may want to be mothered and to mother. Just be careful not to smother.

The low road of our Cancer Moon...we become more domineering, overprotective, unpredictable, irritable, critical, unrelenting.

The high road of our Cancer Moon...we are more protective, loyal, imaginative, compassionate, persistent, determined.

*

Moon in Cancer offers us a precious gift: an opportunity for a new start, a time to heal and transform. It's important to listen to our heart, to let Spirit guide and direct us. What are we being called to let go of? What are we being nudged to do?

*

*

April 27 – Moon enters Leo

Our Moon moves into fiery, dramatic, magnetic, flamboyant Leo. Our Moon in Leo speaks to our "inner child". It's a warm, generous, loving, playful position. The pride of the Lion can keep us from pettiness, but it can also prevent us from opening up and sharing how we truly feel. It's a time when we seek attention, wanting to stand out for our special gifts and talents. It's a great time to engage in creative activities, working and playing with our children, expressing our generosity, and taking risks. Be bold! Be proud!

*

The low road of Leo Moon: We are more self-serving, self-centered, arrogant or controlling. The high road of Leo Moon: We are more passionate, innovative, unbiased and fun-loving. Remember, the choice is ours.

*

*

April 29 – Moon enters Virgo

Our Moon enters Virgo. Energies will change today from playful, creative Leo to practical, analytical, meticulous, hard-working, truth-seeking Virgo. The low road of Virgo Moon...we are more critical, argumentative, perfectionistic, judgmental, anxious about our health. The high road of Virgo Moon...we are more intellectual, painstaking, conscientious, dedicated, responsible.

*

Moon in Virgo favours big tasks that are time-consuming and require concentration. Virgos love cleanliness and order, so we may feel the need to organize our surroundings, clean closets, de-clutter, and complete chores. We may also feel drawn to work diligently, completing any projects that have been left undone. We feel satisfied when we're able to solve problems, when we're able to use what we've learned to help others. Virgos also love to be of service, so we may find ourselves pitching in and feeling great satisfaction in helping out. We may also feel motivated to take our health more seriously, focussing on nutrition, diet, exercise so that our body feels and functions better. Let's be careful, though, of jumping into self-improvement schemes.

*

Virgo's motto is "I analyze", so we may have a keen eye for the details that others have missed. Watch out for perfectionism, though. Virgos are truth-seekers, painstakingly dissecting facts in order to find the truth and obtain all the information possible.

*

We need to try to remember to bring balance into our life today. Take time to rest, relax and play.

*

*

This coming week is a time for rest, renewal, healing, transformation, kindness, compassion. For ourselves and for others. Let go. Become the Observer. Breathe. Deeply. And just BE.
