Energy Forecast for the Week of August 13, 2023: Transformation! (The Wisdom Within! #PickACard!)

Greetings, everyone! Welcome to our energy forecast for the week ahead.

What empowering message do Spirit, our angels, guides and light workers want us to know for our highest good for the week ahead?

From Colette Baron-Reid’s The Good Tarot card deck, we are gifted with 13 - Transformation. “Transformation” speaks to a major theme playing out in our lives … Change.

From the guide book…

“Nothing remains the same, and I need to accept that life evolves through cycles of birth, death, and rebirth. Now is a time of transition as things are changing from one form to another. I need to allow this to happen for the highest good. I am called to let go the old so I can welcome the new.”

This is sooo perfect and speaks to what is happening in the heavens in the week ahead! There is a certain magic to the Leo season. No matter what your Sun sign is, this is the best time of the year to embody Sun’s qualities: authenticity, confidence, courage, radiance, warmth, and generosity.

This empowering message was for anyone who happens to read or listen to it. Now, let’s make this more personal. I invite you to tune into your intuition. Let go of all worries and distractions, just for this short time. Hand on heart, breathe slowly and deeply, and take a look at these 3 cards. Which one is calling to you? Ask yourself, “What message, what wisdom, does Spirit have for me for the week ahead?”

Let’s take a look at what is happening in the Heavens in the week ahead.

August 13 – Venus Retrograde conjunct our Leo Sun

When Venus Retrograde is conjunct our Leo Sun, it’s a time of rebirth, transformation, like the Phoenix rising from the ashes. It’s a call to newness of Life. For all of us.

Looking up into the heavens, with this conjunction, Venus switches places with the Sun, so we will see Venus rising in the morning sky, before the Sun, instead of rising in the evening as the Evening Star.

Remember, Leo is all about the heart. So with this conjunction happening in Leo, it is a time to really listen to our heart and soul, to embrace our truth, and to let our authentic selves shine, a message that we’ve been given for quite awhile now. All of our heavenly energies are supporting us at this time. We’ve got this!

August 16 - New Moon in Leo conjunct Venus Retrograde

New Moons are a time of new beginnings, of planting seeds.

Venus Retrograde in Leo may be bringing up feelings of unworthiness, unlovableness, perhaps even feeling unsatisfied with the way we’ve been living our lives.

With this New Moon in Leo we are gifted with the opportunity to start anew, to re-set, to re-think our relationships. How are we showing kindness and respect to ourselves and to others, as well as honouring our needs and the needs of others? Are there changes we need to make? How are we taking responsibility for our own lives?

And this New Moon is square Uranus in Taurus. Remember, Uranus in Taurus may move us to change our values and how we view our material world. Uranus awakens, shocks and revolutionizes, inspiring change, new ways of expressing ourselves, and a strong desire for freedom. This is a time to honour our own needs and tell our own story, letting go of what is no longer serving us, especially where we may have been trying to please others rather than taking care of ourselves. We are worthy. We are valued. We are a spark of the Divine, holy and sacred, precious and adored and loved beyond all measure. We are Love. We are Loved. We are Lovable. We are infinitely more than we can ask or imagine.

Keep in mind, we are much more than the past events of our lives. The light of the Divine within each of us, our Soul, is healing and transforming everything now. Accept that healing and transformation with gratitude. See the Divine within ourselves and in all of creation. Feel the newness, the rebirth, the joy that is ours to embrace. Welcome it with gratitude!

Now let’s gather our energies and come back to our heart. Let’s find out about the card that you intuitively chose, asking yourself, “What message, what wisdom, does Spirit have for me for the week ahead?” Was it card #1? Was it card #2? Or was it card #3?

35 – Restriction

“This marker brings notice of restriction in all things. You are in a prison of your own making, or at the mercy of that which is temporarily out of reach. You aren’t able to move forward constructively at this time.

Be patient, pay attention to the next right action, and sooner than you know, the prison doors will swing open and you will yet again proceed to the greater goal. For now, take this opportunity to rest, taking stock of where you are and from where you’ve come. Ask, “How did I get here?” “What am I not seeing?” “What needs repairing?”

Once answers come, so does relief from the bondage of circumstances and mind.”

Signs and Reminders

3 – When Coyote Calls Your Name

When Coyote calls your name, you’re being given a great gift. This apparent loss, detour, or change of course has been set in motion to give you what you truly need.
