Energy Forecast for the Week of August 6, 2023: Soul Retrieval! (The Wisdom Within! #PickACard!)

Greetings, everyone! Welcome to our energy forecast for the week ahead

What empowering message do Spirit, our angels, guides and light workers want us to know for our highest good for the week ahead?

Let’s take a look at what is happening in the Heavens in the week ahead.

August 8: Lion’s Gate Portal

The 8th day of the 8th month! This is a powerful celestial event that occurs every year between July 28 and August 12, and peaks on August 8.

The Lion’s Gate Portal occurs when Sirius, our Earth and the Orion constellation are all in alignment with each other. It is given this name because our Sun is currently travelling through the zodiac sign of Leo. Definitely significantly fierce, meaningful, influential energies.

Leo is all about our heart, and likes to remind us that with love, all things are possible. Sirius, the brightest star in the sky, is also known as our Spiritual Sun, and is associated with new beginnings, new understanding, new vision, new awareness, and new beliefs.

Many people know 8 as a number of money, but It is so much more than that. In fact, 8 teaches us that WE are so much more than we can ask or imagine.

8 teaches us how to be a beneficial steward of money, power and status. These traits are spiritual responsibilities that need to be used for the highest good. Ultimately, money, power and status benefit the highest good, when in the right hands and hearts.

We deserve to have and be more. The more we allow ourselves to be visible, to express our unique voice, to stand out, to be a light, to have financial freedom, the more we can benefit the greater good.

And the more we can take a stand against those that are using their power, money and status in ways that are not benefitting the greater good.

Just look at all the labor unrest and strikes that are happening all over our world!

8 is an energy that expands everything it touches. It reminds us that there is an infinite supply of LOVE in the Universe.

This energy teaches us to be generous with ourselves and others.

When we open our heart to give and receive love generously, we experience true abundance.

8 also reminds us to live passionately from the heart. Our passions always lead us to our purpose. When we suppress our creativity and passions, our life can feel stifled as a result.

Lion’s Gate Portal. A time that brings awareness to our personal power, possibilities and responsibilities. Don't settle. Don't take no for an answer, and do say no to things that aren't working anymore.

The Lion’s Gate Portal is inviting us to recognize the Divine within us, to be grateful for all the abundant blessings that we have been gifted with, and to share these gifts with others. It's calling us to let our light shine for all the world to see.

August 9: Venus Retrograde in Leo Square Uranus in Taurus

Venus is the planet of love, beauty and money.

Leo is the sign of the heart, love, children and creativity.

With Venus Retrograde, we can be more stubborn, selfish, self-indulgent, extravagant, uncompromising, and procrastinating.

Now with Venus Retrograde in Leo, it’s important to be aware of what happens in the areas of love, our relationships, and our finances. Are we being called to make some changes, to let go of some things, to make amends, to forgive someone, perhaps even ourself? It’s all about our heart. And with Venus in Leo, we are called to celebrate all of life, to embrace our passions, and with confidence and pride, to let our light shine brightly for all to see.

Add in Venus Retrograde in Leo square Uranus in Taurus, and be prepared for conflict.

Uranus in Taurus may move us to change our values and how we view our material world. Uranus awakens, shocks and revolutionizes, inspiring change, new ways of expressing ourselves, and a strong desire for freedom.

Be patient. In practical Taurus, there are solutions if we look for them. And once we discover them, we may begin to grow and prosper in ways that we could never have imagined, finding the treasure in the challenges.

During this time, it is important that we take care of ourselves and embrace our truth, surrender to what is, speak our truth, setting up healthy boundaries, letting go of what is no longer serving us, especially where we may be trying to please others rather than taking care of ourselves.

It’s also important to not let our pride get in the way. We all have the Pride of the Lion deep within us. If our tender heart gets hurt, and we normally roar and strike out at others, this is a time to practice something new. It’s a time for love, compassion, forgiveness, understanding and healing … for ourselves and for others. *

35 – A Tall Tale

Key concepts: denial, concealing the truth so you can manipulate and control a situation, fear-based communication, creating a narrative to hide behind, not allowing the fear of what others will think to influence your words, learning to communicate from a place of authenticity

* The Oracle’s Message: You or someone else is telling a tall tale right now. You always know if a falsehood is spoken because it doesn’t feel grounded. When you lie, you get high on an illusory sense of power that is doomed to fail at some point. You feel driven by the fear of exposure, but something makes you stick to your story even though you know it has no substance. Whatever lie we are caught up in isn’t as important as the motive for it. Why does anyone lie? Perhaps we don’t believe the truth is good enough, or we want to keep doing what we know we shouldn’t be doing. Then there is the lie put forth while in denial, such as hiding an active addiction. In this scenario, we may believe our own lies. The tall tale, the white lie, the stretching of the truth, and the blatant fabrication are all about control: the desire for it, the lack of it, the need to maintain it so we can manipulate the outer world and hide our inner one. Today, ask for the truth. Be willing to pay the price and be okay with the vulnerability your lie is exposing in yourself and others. Transparency is required to get to where you need to go, to be truly empowered, to reveal the strength of what is true and authentic. Any other path leads to a dead end. Remember the saying “The truth will set you free”—and get ready to fly unfettered.

21 - Embrace

Key words: Achieve, welcome, appreciate, dreams, wholeness, contentment

When it comes to love, the Universe is smiling upon you at this time. Energies are moving and shifting, coming together to give you exactly what you need and want. Your efforts to clarify your heart’s desires, to be present in current relationships, and to actively manifest new relationships are now bearing fruit. In this moment, you are in a position to achieve all that you have dreamed of regarding matters of the heart. Your dreams are ready to manifest.

Allow all of the pieces to gently fall into place. Don’t resist – just embrace. Your own personal energies are combining to bring you to a new level of being “whole” and perfect. This will allow your relationships to fall into place beautifully as well.

To support this process of integration, work with the concept of having an open and grateful heart. Express appreciation for the many blessings in your life. As you go through your day, be aware of the Grace that surrounds you. Grace shows itself in ways both large and small. The larger manifestations of Grace may be your family, your health, and your home – however, there are many smaller manifestations of Grace that can also be acknowledged. Appreciate the warm sun on your face, the cool breeze blowing through your hair, the lovely flower growing from a crack in a stone wall. By being grateful, you surround yourself with contentment and through the Law of Attraction, you will welcome more of the same, including more fulfilling relationships.

14 – Ride the Wave

You can be assured that you're entering a time when you can ride the wave of abundance. The tide has turned, and you can put your "surfing" skills to the test! Everything that you know - all your talents, coupled with your hopes and dreams - will carry you forward. People and circumstances have come out of the ocean of potential and possibility to take shape in a wave of spectacular activity. Know that you're definitely on the right path!

May these interpretations be a guide. Allow understanding to unfold within you. Honour your individual wisdom from within over the coming week, as you open yourself to the message of the card that you have picked.
