Greetings, everyone! Welcome to our energy forecast for the week ahead!

Yang represents the power of action, the energies that propel the world forward, and manifesting thought and desire into concrete form. Now is the perfect time to act, for you can easily build momentum and make headway.
- on to the "make it happen" phase! Now is the time to stake your claim and get things done.
10/1 encourages us to look out for number 1 and be unique, to let our light shine. Make sure you are being true to yourself and your relationships will mirror that for you. As flight attendants tell us, put on your own oxygen mask before assisting others. Take care of yourself first or you will have nothing left to give others. Self-care is not selfishness. You cannot serve from an empty cup.
1 teaches you to make YOUR happiness and well being your number one priority. You are learning how to be ambitious without apology. Perhaps you are learning that you need more compassion for yourself - as you give so generously to other people. Pay attention to where you need to put boundaries around your energy and efforts. It can help you have the energy to manifest your dreams.
10 is the number of change - new beginnings and transformation. When 10/1 is activated, so is your crown chakra. Ideas can come pouring through you - it's your job not to dismiss them. Rather, take heed. Honor them as messages from the Divine, and you, their worthy recipient.

Feb. 19 – Sun enters dreamy, sensitive, compassionate, spiritual, intuitive Pisces
It’s time to dream! And all our dreams can come true.

Feb. 20 – New Moon in Pisces
It's a time of planting seeds and new beginnings. It's a time of deep listening to the messages that our Soul has been trying to give us. It's time to slow down and go inward, to trust our intuition and feelings.

We may find ourselves revisiting lessons that we thought we had learned. Pisces invites us to go deeper. Perhaps there's something that we are being invited to do differently this time. Don't be afraid of drowning. Pisces reminds us that we don't have to suffer alone. All we have to do is ask for the help that we need, reaching out to the Divine, to our spirit guides, our angels, a friend, a family member, a colleague.
During this time of planting seeds and new beginnings, patience and trust is very much needed as we wait for these precious seeds to grow. Trust Spirit. Remember it's not all up to us. We play an important part, but we are co-creators WITH Spirit, and with Spirit, all things are possible.

Feb. 20 – Venus, the planet of love, beauty and money, enters active, fiery Aries, the initiator
Aries is the sign of "I Am", giving us the confidence to speak our mind, to say exactly what we think and feel. Just be careful, though. This could lead to conflict if we're in a situation where compromising, balancing, negotiating, cooperation, and compassion are needed.

Feb. 25-28 – Jupiter conjunct Chiron, the planet of healing, in Aries
With Chiron we learn that our greatest strength and healing comes from our greatest wound, if we have the courage to embrace our woundedness with love and compassion, with gentleness and self-care.

For me, Chiron is in Aquarius in my 4th House, the House of Home. This House is ruled by Cancer, which is the 4th sign of the zodiac. I've been called to delve deeper and look at perhaps my deepest wounds of all...around HOME...family, food, eating, cooking, and self-nurturing.

This deep wound would express itself in my life when I was searching for love outside myself, feeling abandoned, like I didn't belong, feeling like I was an after-thought, that I was unloved or not deserving of love. There was always an emptiness, an ache that nothing could fill. Attracted to partners who could not fully commit to a relationship; tendency to sabotage relationships; to withdraw from love; to withdraw love. Conversely, trying to rescue others, taking care of them, soothing their pain, putting their needs first...going to great lengths to try to obtain the love of others.

As the nurturer, the caretaker, the Fixer-upper, the peacemaker, I was always putting the needs of others first. If others were happy, then I was happy. That Golden Rule, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” (Luke 6:31) I learned that well.
I could not escape the wound. Nothing could fill the emptiness... not work, not involvement in charities, not entering a religious community, not food, relationships, staying up late, taking care of others, service work... nothing could fill it.

So learning to put myself first? Putting my needs first? I couldn’t even tell you what I wanted, let alone what I needed!
Making myself the priority?
*
Sounds a bit selfish, doesn't it? But I've learned from the wisdom of flight attendants, I need to put my oxygen mask on first. If I don't take care of myself, I will be unable to take care of those who need me, to be of service to others.
*
I always had a reason why I didn't have the time or energy to look after myself...I had too much work to do; I was too tired at the end of the day; I didn't have the time; I had to take care of my husband; his needs came first; I had all the pets to look after. Well, now I have no more excuses as to why I continue to neglect/abandon myself. Putting it simply, I don't know how to nurture/take care of myself.

I believe that we are Divinely protected and Divinely directed. I also believe that when the student is ready the teacher appears. And I've been blessed with some wonderful people in my life who have helped to teach, guide and support me along the way.
*
I am learning that regardless of my history, I am NOT my story, and that it's never too late to tell a new one.
*
Chiron in Aries invites us to take a closer look and ask ourselves...
*
Where do I belong? Do I even need (or want!) to fit in? How can I maintain my individuality and be part of a group?
When we're in the stillness or the silence, what are the voices that come up in our head? What does our inner critic like to tell us?
*
When we acquaint ourselves with our not-so-kind or not-so-loving thoughts, we can overcome their power and then replace them with empowering affirmations.
*
So, "I'm not good enough" becomes "I am enough."
*
"I'm stupid. I should have known better," becomes "I tried my best. I'm always learning."
*
"I'm unlovable. No one will ever love me," becomes "I'm lovable and worthy of love."
*
The goal of Chiron in Aries is to love and embrace the chorus of voices that makes us who we are.

As we learn to love ourselves, we see with new eyes and are able to see the Love that has always been with us. My past/my history, that was then. This is now. I'm older, wiser, and am beginning to learn how to nurture myself, discovering the treasure within, coming Home. I will not find the Love that I seek somewhere out "there". It's been here all along, right within my own heart. The longest journey and perhaps the most difficult we will ever make is from the head to the heart.

The time is now. The Creator has gifted us with Chiron. We need to see ourselves as the Creator sees us, with eyes of compassion and love. We need to give ourselves permission to feel our pain, to come out of hiding, to be honest with ourselves and others, to speak the truth, to give voice to our woundedness, to embrace it and to love it to healing and to Life; to rewrite our stories; to bring our stories into the Light to be healed and to heal others. We need to pray with open hands, allowing the Creator to take away what we don't need and to gift us with what we do need. It's all in Divine timing.

That's the gift of healing that Chiron brings to us and that we in turn can bring to the world.
