Energy Forecast for the week of January 21, 2024: ORPHANED! (WE WILL FIND OUR WINGS!)

Greetings, everyone! Welcome to our energy forecast for the week ahead.

I am so grateful that you are here. Welcome to my website!

In case no one has told you today, you are beautiful. Just the way you are. You are precious and adored and loved beyond all measure. You are valued. You are worthy. You are needed. You are stronger than you think. You are here for a reason. You are going to get through any challenges that you may be facing. Don’t give up before the miracle happens. You are not alone. You are safe and you are protected. And did I mention, I’m so happy you are here. I hope you will stay for awhile. Slow down. Take time to breathe. Put your feet up. Relax. Take this time for yourself. You are worth it. This time together is for YOU. Love gathers here and you are always welcome. And I hope that you will return.

Today I am here with the energy forecast for the week of January 21 to January 27.

What do Spirit, our angels, guides, and light workers want us to know for our highest good? Let’s see what Spirit has to say.

From Colette Baron-Reid’s Wisdom of the Oracle card deck, we are gifted with 5 – Orphaned.

From the guide book…

Essential meanings: A sense of loss; an identity crisis; recognizing that you don't fit in; the need to belong; uncertainty about your place.

The Oracle's message: We were all meant to have connections with other people - within our families, society, and the larger culture. No man is an island, and it's important to recognize when being "a part of" rather than "separate from" is essential to your well-being. The issue at hand is the need to find where you fit. Be true to your core truths and values. Perhaps you no longer identify with a group or community the way you did before and need to find a new situation. You might be feeling a deep sense of loss or confusion. Address the need for belonging, and know that you will find your place with others of like mind and spirit. It's okay to let go of pressure to fit in. Not everyone will understand you. It's time to move on.

Relationship message: As you shift and evolve and commit to your own growth, you long for support but may be disappointed and hurt by others who are not providing what you feel you deserve. Perhaps you are drifting away from this relationship because you're in a different stage of personal growth. Perhaps you are in a new relationship and discovering that you don't share the same values and beliefs, so you feel left out, unable to get to that intimate place of safety and belonging. Take heart, as Spirit knows you and loves you and will steer you in the direction of those who accept you as you are without artifice or agenda. Don't compromise yourself to belong. It won't be worth the price.

Prosperity message: This card reminds you that you can't be all things to all people. You are not going to be popular with everyone, and that has to be okay with you. Be clear about your mission, your brand, your work persona, your contribution to the world, as these must be based on what you authentically have to offer, not something you think will sell or you perceive "they" may want. You will attract abundance by being completely yourself. Stay in your own lane. That's where you will shine and where you'll experience prosperity.

Such a hope-filled card! Connecting with this card, I feel that Orphaned suggests that we may be experiencing a deep sense of loss, that we don't seem to "fit in" right now; this may be a time of uncertainty and questioning. To me, this is a card of hope. This is when we begin to embrace our truth, learning to embrace our inner child, our inner beauty. This may be a difficult time, but when we look back upon it, we will discover that it has made us stronger and more compassionate, more faith-filled and hope-filled. And Spirit continues to have our back and supports us along the way.

Looking more closely at this card, I finally figured out what I was looking at...it wasn't just a person. The figure seems to have the head of a bird, hence taking shelter in the bird's nest. This is a time of nesting. It's a time of freedom, a time to learn and grow, trust and have faith, and learn how to fly. Yes, we will find our wings!

I also see the light and strength and support of Spirit in this card. Do you see the face within the rock that is supporting the nest? And the light that is shining, dispelling the mist and the darkness? We are not alone, though at times it may feel like it. Spirit is supporting us, enveloping us in strength and light and goodness.

It's time to love ourselves enough to make the changes that we need to do in order to be free and whole. We need to see ourselves and others through the eyes of the observer, to have the courage to forgive, to release, to make amends, to choose an entirely different way of being, of doing. If we do what we've always done, we'll get what we've always gotten.

We do not need to do this alone. With Spirit as our guide, all things are possible. We mustn't be afraid to reach out to a trusted confidante or to seek professional help. The time is now. We are worthy. We are precious. We are loved. We are beloved.

May the Love, abundance, wealth, peace, joy, forgiveness, healing, freedom, all the blessings that are truly ours, may we receive them with an open mind, open hands and an open heart.

Let us pray for all those for whom gratitude and hope and faith and trust are just not possible at this time. We are with you. We are One.

Amen! A’ho! And so it is!

This empowering message from Orphaned was for anyone who happens to read or listen to it. Now, let’s make this more personal. I invite you to tune into your intuition. Let go of all worries and distractions, just for this short time.

Let’s gather our energies and come back to our heart. Hand on heart, breathe slowly and deeply, and take a look at these 2 cards. Which one is calling to you?

4 – Keeper of Comfort

Seek the comfort of a shade tree. The companionship of an animal. The soothing of a favorite blanket, fragrance, flower, or book. This is a time for snuggling: snuggle up to the earth, to the kindness of nature, to the generosity of story. But snuggle, regardless. The Tree Keepers knew what our society has forgotten: the value of self-soothing. Many of our illnesses are caused by stress that could be alleviated with proper self-care and the comfort of a regulated nervous system. Be the one who remembers. Honor the old ways and be kind to yourself right now.

45 – Sad Embrace

Essential meaning: "Loss is a part of life. Let go and allow time to heal you."

You may be entering into a period where loss is a theme. Perhaps you're having to let go of a long-cherished dream. If so, take heart, for this ending may have been for your highest good. A better and more powerful dream will be realized in your life if you can accept the loss.

Relationships based on faulty foundations are meant to end at this time. Disappointment is a form of perception. If your expectations weren't met, a sense of loss arises, along with sadness and grief. Express these emotions. Tears are like healing rain that can restore life to a parched inner landscape. Growth is always assured. Whatever the loss - however great it is - let go, and experience your feelings so that you may soon see what beauty lies ahead.

May these interpretations be a guide. Allow understanding to unfold within you. Honour your individual wisdom from within over the coming week, as you open yourself to the message of the card that you have picked. Stay open and curious, and listen to the still, small voice from within that you can always rely upon. Trust Spirit!
