Energy Forecast for the Week of July 16, 2023: The Fates! (Let’s get intuitive!)

Greetings, everyone! Welcome to our energy forecast for the week ahead.

What empowering message do Spirit, our angels, guides and light workers want us to know for our highest good for the week ahead?

From Colette Baron-Reid’s Wisdom of the Oracle card deck, we are gifted with 17 – The Fates.

The Serenity Prayer sums up the meaning of this card. "God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference."

Ah, yes! This powerful prayer holds such great wisdom for us! It’s one of my favourite prayers, and one that I pray especially if I’m feeling stressed. Surrender. Acceptance. Trust in my Higher Power.

And that is where the true treasure lies...gratitude, acceptance, willingness, surrender...to take a step back, become the Observer, listen with our heart and soul, see the Creator's beauty in all, for we are all beloved, precious and adored beyond measure. We can be the change we want to see in the world. (Mahatma Gandhi quote paraphrased) That is where our true treasure lies...discovering the treasure within.

For we truly have everything we need deep within. WE are the treasure, the wisdom, the change that we have been looking for.

Not somewhere “out there”, separate from ourselves, but deep within. It’s time to remember who we are, the power that we have, the light that we are. It’s time to come Home…to ourselves, to welcome every part of ourself…the scared, the lost, the hurting, the angry, the lonely, the suffering, the parts of ourselves that need forgiveness and healing and mercy and compassion and understanding and love…so much love. We need to welcome and embrace all parts of ourselves. For we are ONE. Together, we are ONE. We are Love. We are loved. We are lovable. We are safe. We are protected. We are valued. We are worthy. We are Joy. We are Abundance. We are Creator. We are creating. We are healed. We are healers. We are holy. We are blessed. We are sacred. We are a spark of the Divine. We are infinitely more than we can ask or imagine.

And it all begins with us coming HOME. Right here, right now.

And though we already have everything we need, Spirit, God, the Universe, our Creator, our angels, and guides…they will often send us signs and may speak to us in many different ways, through Scripture, music, art, people, nature, the stars and planets. May we have the eyes to see and the heart to know! It’s up to us to listen and then to act upon the wisdom that we are blessed with.

Now I invite you to tune into your intuition. Hand on heart, breathe slowly and deeply, and take a look at these 3 cards. Which one is calling to you? What message, what wisdom, does Spirit have for you for the week ahead?

Let’s take a look at two major events happening in the Heavens in the week ahead. They both are happening on the same day and their energies will be felt for weeks/months afterwards.

July 17 - New Moon in Cancer

July 17 at 2:32 p.m. EDT, we have a New Moon in Cancer. Our sensuous, receptive Moon is in its natural home of romantic, intuitive Cancer. This sign brings out the best qualities of Moon - fidelity, patience and understanding.

The focus will be on home, family, safety, security, our ancestry, our foundations, coming Home to ourselves. We are being gifted with the opportunity to make important changes in our lives. It's time to see the truth and make a new start.

The low road of our Cancer Moon...we become more domineering, overprotective, unpredictable, irritable, critical, unrelenting.

The high road of our Cancer Moon...we are more protective, loyal, imaginative, compassionate, persistent, determined.

Our Cancer Moon invites us to embrace all of our feelings, even those we may struggle with. We all need to feel safe and loved for who we are. Let's honour our feelings, allow ourselves to feel them, and allow others to do the same. Hugs can be a healing embrace for both the little ones and the big ones in our lives.

If painful memories or thoughts are arising, don't push them aside or try to bury them. Honour them and feel those feelings. And if tears come, let them flow. That's when healing happens and we can release those feelings with love and gratitude for the lessons learned and let them go. Let the watery sign of Cancer do its work. Don't be afraid to find the treasure in the challenges.

The real work is to embrace the truth that our heart wants us to know, to love it and make peace with it without shame or condemnation. Our shadow may hold the parts of ourselves that we don't like, but it also holds our wild, bold, fiery, powerful side, that part of us that wants to be set free. This is a crucial time to listen to our heart and soul and be open to the Love of the Divine.

July 17 – The Lunar Nodes enter Aries and Libra

In astrology, the North Node will help us find our way home. The North Node and South Node of the Moon are points that are directly opposite each other. They are not planetary bodies; rather, they are mathematical points that take into account the relationship between the Sun, Moon, and Earth at the time of our birth.

The North Node represents the kinds of experiences that we must work to develop in order to grow spiritually. It shows us our gifts to use, virtues to develop, our life purpose and skills to master. Consciously working on these life lessons can bring us increased happiness and fulfillment. The South Node represents those experiences and qualities that come naturally to us, that are over-developed, and that we tend to fall back on. The South Node can be a point of undoing unless we develop our North Node experiences and qualities.

The North Node will enter active, fiery Aries, the initiator who wants to get things done. The South Node will enter the harmonious, diplomatic sign of Libra. They will be in these signs for the next 18 months. The Aries-Libra polarity can be very challenging.

Aries is the sign of "I Am", giving us the confidence to speak our mind, to say exactly what we think and feel. Just be careful, though. This could lead to conflict if we're in a situation where compromising, balancing, negotiating, cooperation, and compassion are needed. That's where the gifts of our South Node in Libra will be of great benefit.

The low road of Aries: we may be more impulsive, stubborn and bossy.

The high road of Aries: we may be more energetic, optimistic, open to change, and adventurous.

With the South Node in the active, artistic, harmonious, diplomatic sign of Libra, we may find ourselves gifted with the energies of Libra ... being easygoing, peaceable, positive, and a superb listener. Libra is “I/We Balance”. It is all about partnerships and all that entails ... compromising, balancing, negotiating, cooperating.

With this Aries-Libra polarity, we may be feeling the conflict between "self" and "other", between independence and togetherness. Aries is about independence and doing things on our own and in our own way. Libra is all about partnerships...compromising, balancing, negotiating, cooperating. The challenge is to work with, to create interdependence. It’s not “I” or “You”. It’s “We”.

It's important that we take the time to talk things out, to listen to each other, to speak from our heart, to create an outcome that is satisfying and mutually beneficial for all. It's important that we express our needs and ask for help to get those needs met, reaching out to the Divine, to our spirit guides, our angels, a friend, a family member, a colleague. Remember, we are not alone. Let us ask Spirit and our angels and guides for direction. We are co-creators with Spirit. Open. Allow. Receive. Let us be open to the infinite possibilities that are in store for us. Exciting times indeed!

So, as “The Fates” reminds us, “There are things in life you will never have control over. The conditions brought on by the evolution of the collective, by nature, and by your past experiences may be fated, preordained by Spirit for a greater purpose you cannot understand in this lifetime. It may not be in your cards to understand why certain events occurred, but you can accept the mystery and work with what those events and your current circumstances have to teach you. This is the wisdom contained in the Serenity Prayer.”

May we be teachable! May we be wise! May we listen to our heart and soul. May we embrace the gift that we are, enveloping ourselves in a blanket of love, care, compassion and gentleness.

10 - Rock Bottom

The essential meaning of Rock Bottom is "Surrender and acceptance are the keys to freedom."

As difficult as it may be to accept, it seems that you've reached a point where you can go no further in the same manner in which you've been doing things. Perhaps you've hit a proverbial brick wall, or experienced a deep sense of loss and don't know where to turn. The old way of doing things must be discarded fully in order to move onward and upward. A new direction and a new strategy are called for.

The only way out is through surrender. Accept things as they are, and admit that you have no idea what to do next. If you wait in that heartfelt moment of release, then a stairway will appear, like magic, and all manner of synchronicities will show you the way to higher ground. The Rock Bottom card is a sign that a miracle is about to occur, but only if you let go completely.

Kuthumi (pronounced Koot-humi) - Cloak of Wisdom

You already know the answer you seek. Trust what you know.

Knowledge is learned. Wisdom is remembered. You are in a real cloak of wisdom now. Like Kuthumi, you have been on a wandering path, trying to find answers through study and the insights of others, but now you are uncovering the truth of your own soul. Your soul is leading the way and you are being encouraged to follow. The fog is clearing. The light has come and it is shining on you. Your soul is saying yes - it's your cheerleader. Follow it and trust the endless wisdom within you. Go, go, go!

41 - Nightingale Spirit: Love is All Around

Oracle Message: In the darkness of night, Nightingale Spirit sings her song of love and hope, a harbinger of dawn to remind you that the sun will rise again soon. You are so loved, and the illumination song of the Nightingale Spirit calls you to a new level of self-awareness and connection with the Light. Yes, there is shadow and darkness, but love and prosperity exist everywhere, even in the seeming emptiness of space, darkness, and a starless night. Hearken to the message, letting the music of the Nightingale’s song remind you that love is all around. Feel it and trust in tomorrow’s light renewing your ability to recognize that the spaces that appear empty are filled with love and abundance. Illumination will happen soon.
