Energy Forecast for the Week of July 23, 2023: SURRENDER! (LET OUR INNER LION/LIONESS ROAR!)

Greetings, everyone! Welcome to our energy forecast for the week ahead.

What empowering message do Spirit, our angels, guides and light workers want us to know for our highest good for the week ahead?

YOUR MESSAGE “Surrender is a spiritual practice and it’s not an easy one. But angels are working in your favor and their miracles will unfold with ease when you move into a state of trust. So, call back your power and stop allowing external forces to divert you from the miracles you deserve. Take time to realize that in order to be helped, you must surrender your need for control over the situation that is on your mind. Hand over your concerns, and the entire situation, to your spiritual allies. When you do so you will allow angels of light to swoop in and help everything transform. If you find yourself having difficulties letting go of the reins, it’s because there’s a part of you that’s not willing to receive the help or miracles you deserve. Hand over all of your concerns to God and let the miracles in. EXTENDED MESSAGE If you are feeling overwhelmed or emotional at this time, your angel guide wants you to know it’s okay to let go. When you open up and release your concerns, you open up to support and miracles. You are a vessel and you contain light. Your concerns are taking up space, and when you release them, you make room for more light. Let them go now. This is a time to experience the freedom that you deserve. You don’t have to do this alone—God and angels are ready to help you. Call in angels and invite them to help you surrender and release anything that could be blocking your experience of miracles. To help them usher positive energy into your life, ask yourself what you need to let go of in order to grow and then action it.” *

Surrender. It's not about giving in or giving up. It's not about winning or losing or having to battle with clenched fists to make things "right".

It's realizing that we're not alone, that there is a Power greater than ourselves that we can turn to, and to open, allow and receive. It's about praying with open hands, allowing the Creator to take away what we no longer need and to gift us with abundant blessings, receiving in gratitude and joy.

It's about discovering the Divinity within us, that power that has remained hidden for so long under layers of mistrust, disbelief, fear, anger, shame, unworthiness, unlovableness. It's time to have the eyes to see and the heart to know, to open and allow.

Now I invite you to tune into your intuition. Hand on heart, breathe slowly and deeply, and take a look at these 3 cards. Which one is calling to you? What message, what wisdom, does Spirit have for you for the week ahead?

Let’s take a look at what is happening in the Heavens in the week ahead. There is a LOT going on! We’ll begin with July 22 since I didn’t include it in last week’s video.

July 22 – Leo Season begins

The Sun returns to its home sign, Leo, on July 22, where it will stay until August 23.

This Fire sign is an invitation to shine brightly, to release the pain, shame, heartache of the past, and to move into the light, to act boldly and confidently, moving from the "I feel" of Cancer to the "I WILL" of Leo, to eat mindfully, to embrace all of life and celebrate it, finding the treasure in the challenges.

Here in Leo, the energies give great warmth and stability, and emotions can be reached through our heart rather than our head. Open to new ideas, highly expressive and more at ease in being the center of attention and working with others, we have no use for petty or narrow thinking.

Proud, dramatic, creative, centre of attention Leo speaks to our "inner child". It's a warm, generous, loving, playful position. However, Leo’s pride can also prevent us from opening up and sharing how we truly feel. It's a time when we seek attention, wanting to stand out for our special gifts and talents. It's a great time to engage in creative activities, working and playing with our children, expressing our generosity, and taking risks.

The low road of Leo: We are more self-serving, self-centred, arrogant or controlling.

The high road of Leo: We are more generous, passionate, innovative, unbiased and fun-loving. Remember, the choice is ours.

And we mustn't be surprised if we find ourselves more easily in tune with our deeper issues. Leo is all about the heart. Leo invites us to listen to our heart and soul, to embrace our truth, to surrender to what is, to speak our truth, setting up healthy boundaries, letting go of what is no longer serving us, especially where we may have been trying to please others rather than taking care of ourselves. It's time to take care of ourselves. Embrace and nurture the child within. DO YOU! It's a call to be our authentic self, not what others expect us to be. That's where our true treasure lies. It's time to be rigorously honest and to act completely from our heart.

When we are clear about our priorities, we're able to make room in our life for what matters most. Remembering, though, that it's not all up to us. It's about trust, surrendering to what is, being open to the blessings that Spirit has for us, co-creating with Spirit. Taking the time for ourselves. Slow down, breathe, meditate, listen to our heart and soul, trust our intuition.

July 22 – Venus turns retrograde in Leo

When a planet turns retrograde, that’s a time to readjust, rearrange, rediscover, re-evaluate, reflect, remember, renew, reset, rest, restore, rethink, review, revise, rejuvenate…

Venus turns retrograde in Leo on July 22 and turns direct on September 3.

This gives us a huge opportunity to take a look at our values and what we hold dear. Are our relationships, careers, decisions and choices that we are making in alignment with our heart’s desires, the passions that light us up, and what truly brings us joy?

If they are not in alignment, what are we willing to do to course-correct?

Perhaps one of the first things we may need to do is to forgive ourselves for trying to live up to others’ expectations, and for putting the needs of others ahead of our own needs and hopes and dreams.

We are valued. We are worthy. We are sacred. We are holy. We are blessed. We are a spark of the Divine.

Now is the time to celebrate the gift that we are. We have a purpose, one that only we can fulfill…to be of service to others, to be a light in the darkness, to be a beacon of hope in our world, to share the Love that we are with others. Be LOVE!

July 23 – Chiron turns retrograde in Aries

The planet of healing turns retrograde in the sign of “I Am” on July 23 and will be here until December 26.

In many ways, this heavenly event supports all of our other planets that are retrograde right now … Venus in Leo, Saturn and Neptune in Pisces, Pluto in Capricorn, AND it’s happening in the season of Leo! Talk about Divine timing!

Chiron retrograde invites us to reassess, to re-evaluate, to reflect upon, perhaps even to revise our life journeys, putting our mental health, well-being, and healing first.

July 25 – Pluto square the Lunar Nodes

Pluto is the planet of Truth, transformation and power.

The North Node points us towards our future.

The South Node points us towards our past.

Pluto acts like a bridge, a connection, between the two, inviting us to dig deep and discover the truth.

What burdens are we carrying that we need to let go of? What do I need to let go of in order to be my authentic self and let my Light shine brightly for all to see? (past)

Who do I want to be, to become? When I listen to my heart, what am I being called to do? Where does my passion, my joy lie? What makes me truly happy? (future)

May the courage and wisdom of Pluto guide us on our life journey! Do not be afraid. Trust Spirit.

July 28 – Mercury enters Virgo

The planet of communication and travel enters practical, analytical, meticulous, hard-working, truth-seeking Virgo on July 28 and will be here until October 4.

With Mercury in Virgo, accuracy, clarity in speech, thought and practices/activities that we are involved in is important to us. It’s a time for investigating and evaluating. We need to be careful not to get too caught up in the details. We may discover that we need others to help us see the bigger picture.

Leo Season… It's time to take care of ourselves. Embrace and nurture the child within. DO YOU! It's a call to be our authentic self, not what others expect us to be. That's where our true treasure lies. It's time to be rigorously honest and to act completely from our heart.

Remember, though, it's not all up to us. It's about trust, surrendering to what is, being open to the blessings that Spirit has for us, co-creating with Spirit.

There is a certain magic to the Leo season. No matter what our Sun sign is, this is the best time of the year to embody Sun’s qualities: authenticity, confidence, courage, radiance, warmth, and generosity.

LET OUR INNER LION/LIONESS ROAR!

Let go. Let God. Shine brightly for all to see.

If there is some deep-seated something that we're just unable to let go of, never fear. The Heavens will always give us another opportunity.

The Universe/God/Creator/Higher Power never gives up on us.

It's not too late to set new intentions and focus on letting our light shine. There’s no need to fear. Let go of that which is holding us back. We know what it is. We've been getting those inner nudges. It’s time to let our light shine, our inner Leo ROAR.

We are the gift the world has been waiting for, the gift that WE have been waiting for.

Amen! A’ho! And so it is.

Essential meaning: Commitment to prosperity, first signs of tangible success, undeniable evidence that hard work will pay off, dreams grounded in reality, start of a new project

Affirmations:

"Everything starts with a plan, and I am beginning to see results generate prosperity."

"I am a doer, and I get to make my own decisions."

"I have the ability to attract what I need."

“Pages” represent new beginnings and being ready for something, such as a change in conditions or energy influencing conditions.

The suit of Earth is about conditions and is associated with material wealth, manifestation in the world of form, and in The Good Tarot, it is also connected to the other three suits and how our mental, spiritual, creative, and emotional experiences have produced tangible results.

Therefore, in this deck, the Earth suit represents an observable truth – namely, that everything we think, feel, believe, and create will eventually manifest in the world of form. What we experience in this realm is the result of choices we made in the past, whether we made them consciously or unconsciously.

If you do what you did, you get what you got. So how do we steward our creations when they coalesce in the world of form, producing material results? If our finances, relationships, or situations are not what we would have hoped they would be, we must admit that we played a role in co-creating them, and we can use that co-creative power to start bringing about something different if we so choose.

Great Mystery

Card Meaning: Have faith and know that you’re divinely guided … even when you have doubts. Trust that you’re exactly where you need to be. Believe! You’ve planted your seeds; now allow the Creator to do the rest. Even if you can’t see into the future, have faith that the path will be illuminated and go forward. If you have any recurring challenges, turn them over to the Creator: “Not my will, but thy will be done.”

Your Native Spirit Wants You to Know: Many native cultures refer to the Creator as the Great Mystery. It’s the idea that Great Spirit is so vast and profound that, in many ways, it’s unknowable. Faith is the foundation of the ability to manifest. Everything was created because someone believed that it was possible … and patience is absolutely crucial in the application of this principle. Trust. Change can happen in a heartbeat, but some things require time. You’ve planted the seeds; now give them time to grow. Please be patient, and know that it will happen – whatever receives your care and attention will flourish.

The Journey: If you just planted some seeds in your garden today, you wouldn’t go out tomorrow and yell at them because there wasn’t any fruit yet. So don’t dig up your seeds of faith! Remember this mantra: “It’s happening!” Repeat this phrase periodically, especially if you have doubts … and keep going.

Power Animals are spirit guides in animal form. Ancient and indigenous peoples worldwide believe that animal spirit guides, through their spiritual powers, help them in their daily lives by providing protection, guidance, and healing.

Lion: Courage

Essential meaning: Ask for what you want.

Don’t assume that others and the world around you will know at any given moment what your preferences and desires are. You must announce them. Speak out directly and clearly. If you do state your wants and needs, the worst that can happen is that you won’t get what you want. But I’ll guarantee that if you don’t ask, you’re much less likely to get what you want.

First ask yourself what it is that you want, whether something simple like a request to pass the salt, or something more daring and complex, like a hug or kind word from a loved one or a friend. The more personal your desires, the harder it can be to ask, but really, what’s at risk? That someone will say no? That you won’t get what you want? That you’ll be shamed or scorned? It’s going to take courage. Not fearlessness, but courage. You can be afraid and still risk expressing your wants. This flies in the face of all your earlier training – to keep quiet and suffer in silence – but why continue being a martyr, denying yourself the privilege of receiving? It makes life a lot easier to know the power of expressing your desires.
