June 5 – Venus enters Leo

Venus, the planet of love, beauty and money, is sensual, tactile, sweet, inviting, enticing, soothing, pacifying, longing, desiring, and associated with the power of attraction.

Venus is about our relationships and what we value. Its purpose is to unite, to reconcile, to attract, to satisfy, to bring peace and harmony, to soothe; to feel pleasure; desire; give beauty; romance.

Leo. This Fire sign is an invitation to shine brightly, to release the pain, shame, indigestion of the past, and to move into the light, to act boldly and confidently, moving from the "I feel" of Cancer to the "I WILL" of Leo, to eat mindfully, to digest slowly, to embrace all of life and celebrate it, finding the treasure in the challenges.

Here in Leo, the energies give great warmth and stability, and emotions can be reached through our heart rather than our head. Open to new ideas, highly expressive and more at ease in being the center of attention and working with others, we have no use for petty or narrow thinking.

Proud, dramatic, creative, centre of attention Leo speaks to our "inner child". It's a warm, generous, loving, playful position. The pride of the Lion can keep us from pettiness, but it can also prevent us from opening up and sharing how we truly feel. The low road of Leo: We are more self-serving, self-centred, arrogant or controlling.

The high road of Leo: We are more generous, passionate, innovative, unbiased and fun-loving. Remember, the choice is ours.

And we mustn't be surprised if we find ourselves more easily in tune with our deeper issues. Leo is all about the heart. Leo invites us to listen to our heart and soul, to embrace our truth, to surrender to what is, to speak our truth, setting up healthy boundaries, letting go of what is no longer serving us, especially where we may have been trying to please others rather than taking care of ourselves. It's time to take care of ourselves. Embrace and nurture the child within. DO YOU! It's a call to be our authentic self, not what others expect us to be. That's where our true treasure lies. It's time to be rigorously honest and to act completely from our heart.

When we are clear about our priorities, we're able to make room in our life for what matters most. Remembering, though, that it's not all up to us. It's about trust, surrendering to what is, being open to the blessings that Spirit has for us, co-creating with Spirit. Taking the time for ourselves. Slow down, breathe, meditate, listen to our heart and soul, trust our intuition.

With Venus in Leo, it’s important to be aware of what happens in the areas of love, our relationships, and our finances. Are we being called to make some changes, to let go of some things, to make amends, to forgive someone, perhaps even ourself? It’s all about our heart. And with Venus in Leo, we are called to celebrate all of life, to embrace our passions, and with confidence and pride, to let our light shine brightly for all to see.

Venus is in Leo from June 5 to October 8. Venus will turn retrograde in Leo on July 23, giving us 4 months of Venus in passionate, heart-centered Leo.

With Venus Retrograde in Leo, this may be a time for us to mend misunderstandings or broken relationships, to heal wounds, and let go of old hurts in order to reclaim our power. This would be the time to forgive, to release, to make peace, and to make amends to others. When we do that, we can truly set ourselves free.

Remember, this is the time for us to take time to reflect on our situation, enjoy the moment, and trust that we are always being guided. Our angel team is encouraging us to follow our heart now. Do what makes our heart and soul sing. Do what makes us smile, dance and rejoice in the glory of life.
