Greetings, everyone! Welcome to our energy forecast for the week ahead.
What do Spirit, our angels, guides, and light workers want us to know for our highest good for the week ahead?
From Colette Baron-Reid’s The Wisdom of the Oracle card deck, we are gifted with 14 – Truth Be Told.
This is the time when we are being called to be authentically honest with ourself and with others, taking a look at the honest truth about our thoughts, feelings and beliefs about love, prosperity, who we really are, who we are being called to be, who we want to be, our hopes and our dreams.
We need to look within. There we will find everything we need.
Remember that we need to speak our truth and then listen. We need to be our authentic self and allow others the same respect and freedom. Dig deep. Listen to our heart and soul. Embrace who we are, as we are, just as we are. We are not "broken" or "flawed". If we were to see ourself as our Creator sees us, we would see the beauty of all that is, and see the treasure that we truly are. We are the gift that the world needs.
I love the symbolism of the images in this card.
The Owl is a symbol of wisdom and totem of intuition and can see in the dark.
The Hearts remind us that Spirit loves us just as we are.
The Mask reflects the masks that we wear when we’re in denial, yet our soul already knows these things and doesn’t need to be told. Our soul, our Higher Self, the Creator sees us as we truly are, children of the Divine.
The open door/window reminds us that when we are in the here and now, we can be open to receive the abundant gifts and blessings that Spirit has in store for us. It's like praying with open hands. Spirit/Source/God/Creator is able to take away what we don't need and give us what we do need, if we're open to receive.
And the Numerology!
14 breaks down to 1+4=5
5 is the number of the revolutionary. This vibration teaches us how to break with tradition, to break free of the way we have been doing things - especially if they involved pleasing other people at our own expense, and instead BE OURSELVES.
5 is a free-spirited, creative number. It aligns to freedom, to feel the freedom to pursue that which fills our heart with purposeful joy and bliss.
5 is a doing number, representing faith in action, having a mindful connection to Source and all of creation. It represents the heart.
This card goes perfectly with what’s happening in the week ahead.
May 7 – Venus enters Cancer at 10:24 a.m. EDT
Venus, the planet of love, beauty and money, moves into the sign of Cancer and will be here until June 5.
The purpose of Venus: to unite, to reconcile, to attract, to satisfy, to bring peace and harmony, to soothe; to feel pleasure; desire; give beauty; romance.
Cancer is the sign of home and family. Cancer people seek close personal relationships and are happiest surrounded by what is familiar and those they love.
The low road of Cancer – you may be addicted, attached, clinging, demanding, emotional, hidden, manipulative, moody, mothering, needy, no boundaries, oversensitive, temperamental.
The high road of Cancer – you may be attentive, caring, cleansing, compassionate, considerate, deep, emotional, healing, imaginative, inspired, intuitive, loyal, maternal, nurturing, persistent, protective, resilient, secure, sensitive, spiritual.
Cancer, more than any other sign, can be full of contradictions. Above all, you value security, yet you love new adventure. You can be very cautious but you’re also the great initiator.
Ruled by the Moon and having water as its element, Cancer is sensitive to feelings and to subtle energies, much like the phases of the Moon and the tides of the ocean. When they feel threatened, Cancer people can be needy, clingy, possessive, helpless. They may use food as a substitute for love. They must learn to be more self-reliant and self-sufficient, while maintaining supportive connections with Spirit and with others.
With nurturing, protective Venus in Cancer, we may be feeling particularly sensitive, receptive, even moody or clingy, and simply wanting to stay home and nest. We may also feel protective of those closest to us, and protective of ourselves, feeling conflicted with wanting to mother and be mothered. Just be cautious of smothering.
Venus in Cancer invites us to embrace all of our feelings, even those we may struggle with. We all need to feel safe and loved for who we are. Let's honour our feelings, allow ourselves to feel them, and allow others to do the same. Hugs can be a healing embrace for both the little ones and the big ones in our lives.
If painful memories or thoughts are arising, don't push them aside or try to bury them. Honour them and feel those feelings. And if tears come, let them flow. That's when healing happens and we can release those feelings with love and gratitude for the lessons learned and let them go. Let the watery sign of Cancer do its work. Don't be afraid to find the treasure in the challenges.
May 9 - Sun conjunct Uranus in Taurus
May 9, our Sun, the planet of vitality and Uranus, the planet of revolutionary enlightenment, meet up in the sign of Taurus. And just when we may have thought we were standing on solid ground. Be prepared. Uranus in Taurus may move us to change our values and how we view our material world. Uranus awakens, shocks and revolutionizes, inspiring change, new ways of expressing ourselves, and a strong desire for freedom.
So with Taurus being about the material world, money, property, wealth, security and sensual pleasures, these are the areas in our lives where things may become unsettled, urging us to break free from limiting situations. Be patient. In practical Taurus, there are solutions if we look for them. And once we discover them, we may begin to grow and prosper in ways that we could never have imagined, finding the treasure in the challenges.
And happy dance! May 14: Mercury turns Direct in Taurus at 11:17 p.m. EDT!!!
