Energy Forecast for the week of September 3, 2023: HOLY ANGER – BE THE CHANGE! (YES YOU CAN!)

Greetings, everyone! Welcome to our energy forecast for the week ahead.

I am so grateful that you are here. Welcome to my website!

In case no one has told you today, you are beautiful. Just the way you are. You are precious and adored and loved beyond all measure. You are valued. You are worthy. You are needed. You are stronger than you think. You are here for a reason. You are going to get through any challenges that you may be facing. Don’t give up before the miracle happens. You are not alone. You are safe and you are protected. And did I mention, I’m so happy you are here. I hope you will stay for awhile. Slow down. Take time to breathe. Put your feet up. Relax. Take this time for yourself. You are worth it. This time together is for YOU. Love gathers here and you are always welcome. And I hope that you will return.

Today I am here with the energy forecast for the week of September 3 – September 9.

What do Spirit, our angels, guides, and light workers want us to know for our highest good? Let’s see what Spirit has to say.

This week I’d like to do something different with this weekly energy forecast. As much as I love doing stars and cards, and exploring the energies of the Heavens, and those who are particularly sensitive to energies may like to be aware of what’s going on, I really feel called to focus on going inward rather than outward, and using oracle cards to help us with that. We truly do have everything we need deep within us. We just need to take the time to be still, to breathe deeply, and to listen to our heart and soul for the answers. That is where we will find the truth that we seek. Not somewhere “out there”. And we do not do this alone. We ask for the guidance, direction and protection of Spirit, our angels, guides and light workers to be with us.

Many of them post on more than one platform…Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, and have their own websites. A simple search and you will find them. Some post daily, weekly, or whenever they feel called to. But even simpler, I invite you to follow me on Facebook and Instagram, where I will continue to share their posts on my pages so you will find their information there as well…a one-stop shop so to speak.

This week I am excited to be working with a new oracle deck that I just received. Created by Amanda Ellis, it is called Christ Consciousness Self-Mastery Oracle. It's a beautiful deck! The artwork by Jane Delaford Taylor is stunning. Amanda dedicates this deck to "helping us model teachings that lead us to become Christed Beings ourselves". Amanda describes it as "a deck that would articulate so many of the beloved teachings of Jesus, but which wouldn't expect anyone reading it to belong to any institution, faith, or identity. Rather, I saw the tenants of Christ's teaching being applicable to anyone who wanted to live a heart-centered life, and to use the template He set to help us become Christed humans. The writings that follow honor all respective journeys but, it is hoped, give fresh perspective as to how to work with and aspire to live in Christ Consciousness."

This is more than any particular faith or religion or institution. Jesus, like all of us, was and is a spiritual being who had a human experience. We are all One. We are Divinely created and protected. And for those who may not know, the name “Christ” comes from the Greek word “chrīstós”, meaning "anointed one". The word is derived from the Greek verb “chrī́ō”, meaning "to anoint." Just like Christ, we are anointed. We are blessed. We are holy. We are sacred. We are precious and adored and loved beyond all measure. We are infinitely more than we can ask or imagine. We are much more than the physical body that we can see and feel. We are a spark of the Divine. We are co-creators with Spirit. We are Love. We are Loved. We are Lovable. We are safe. We are protected. We are valued. We are worthy. And we are Powerful. Remember, Jesus himself said that we would do even greater things than He did. Just imagine that!

Some may ask why I share the whole message from a guide book that is given for a card that we have been gifted with, instead of shortening it or putting the message into my own words. This is because the creators of oracle card decks have been gifted with a message from Spirit for their cards, which is then meant for those who use them. I like to honour that message. This allows each of us to listen to the message and let it touch our hearts. For me, a sentence or two may really speak to me on a particular day, and then on another day, I can be gifted the same card, and something else in that message may be more important to me. These readings are for all of us, and Spirit speaks to each of us, personally and gently, with love, compassion, understanding and so much more. My hope is that Spirit will speak to our hearts with the wisdom, the message that we need today for our highest and best good. Trust Spirit! Open. Allow. And receive!

“To care deeply and passionately for a cause, this planet, and its people is to sometimes become disillusioned, disappointed, and full of rage at what we see happening around us. Injustice, greed, inequality, poverty, destruction, and abuse are hard to witness or experience during our time on Mother Earth. It is easy to get frustrated, however; as human beings we need to master how and what we do with our anger and to channel it correctly to help create a better world, rather than to seek vengeance or to harm another. In Jesus we have a template to follow, since He Himself had moments of fiercely calling out what He saw as wrong: the “hypocrites” of His day, including spiritual teachers who did not practice what they preached, and the money changers’ tables that He overturned in the temple, calling it a “den of thieves.”

However, He never used violence or aggression and never stooped to a lower energy. Rather, as He showed elsewhere, we are taught to turn the other cheek, meaning not to retaliate with like for like, not to meet anger with anger, but to go higher, take it to God, turn a new page, and begin again, responding with our hearts, not our fists.

He showed us how to transmute and redirect our feelings of hopelessness into ones of reeducation, communication, and demonstrating a higher way. To walk the talk; for example, to resanctify the temple, to steer people back to their hearts and away from those who seek to debase or are cruel in other ways. The card chosen by you today shows a mighty tree cut down to make way for humans’ constant need for “more.” This mighty oak may have stood for hundreds of years, gifting us all breath and having watched generations come and go, yet in one fell swoop it is destroyed for profit and more.

How do we respond? Do we cry and rage and bang our fists? Or do we get up and go and plant another two trees for future generations? Do we teach our children why trees are needed, the importance of nature, and her place and right to coexist beside us? The stimulus to do this “additional good” stemming from an opposite trigger, which created a choice point moment as to how we could react, and we chose higher, not lower.

You are reminded today that for whatever irks, annoys, or saddens you now, apathy is not the answer, nor is further rage, which can blind and incapacitate, preventing you from responding at all, or responding without composure or reason. Within you instead is the ever-bright flame of renewal, restoration, and a reflex to do the right thing; this may necessitate you counting to ten, breathing deeply, walking away before coming back more settled to renegotiate, and more. You may also be being asked to be “the better person” to someone else who does not know how; maybe they have never been taught, have never had a role model, or have never been questioned or held accountable.

To walk in light is to never lose hope to realign to a spiritual response rather than remaining in a primary physiological one stemming from how anger manifests in the body. To learn to temper our anger so that it can do good, creating motivation and impetus to help birth new ways. This is not easy; it takes practice and can be misunderstood but is the way out of escalation and further fighting (within yourself or another) and is the pathway ultimately to peace. Use what arises wisely and currently to create the change you seek.”

Wow! What a beautiful card and powerful message! I don’t know about you, but it’s a great reminder for me at this time. When I look at what is happening in our world, I can feel angry, disillusioned, disheartened, helpless, hopeless, sorrowful, and just want to give up or escape somehow or worse yet, wish ill on someone or some company or some group. Holy Anger – Be The Change reminds me first of all, that my feelings are okay. They’re just feelings and it’s important to feel them, to thank them and to let them go. How do I do that? Be The Change that I want to see in this world. It begins with me…my thoughts, my words and my actions. If I want Peace in our world, then I must Be Peace. If I want Love in our world, then I must Be Love. Be Hope. Be Forgiveness. Be Compassion. Be Understanding. Be the Light! “Walk in light. … Never lose hope.”

And there are those times when my mind tries to stop me. “You’re just one person. You can’t possibly believe that you can make a difference. There’s nothing that you can do to help.” The list goes on. “Why me? Why doesn’t so-and-so do it? It’s their job. It’s their fault. It’s not up to me.” Underneath all those thoughts are some pretty powerful beliefs. “I’m not good enough. I’m not strong enough. I can’t. I don’t know how. I’m not qualified enough. So-and-so can do it far better than I can.” And under it all is a whole lot of FEAR. False Evidence Appearing Real. Time to let it go. FEAR or LOVE. CHOOSE LOVE! Take that step. Come to the edge. But what if I fall? What if I fail? Ah, little one, but what if you fly?

Let us remember the words of Neil Armstrong. “One small step for man. One giant leap for mankind.” We all have a life purpose, something that only we are able to do, touching the lives and hearts of those we are called to serve in our little corner of the world right here, right now. We don’t have to go to some far away country to help, though some of us may be called to do that. It all begins with a single step. CHOOSE LIFE! CHOOSE LOVE! CHOOSE FAITH! CHOOSE HOPE! CHOOSE YOU! And remember, we don’t do it alone. We are surrounded by the Source of all Light and Love, by angels, guides, light workers, healers, star beings, and many others, both in Spirit and on earth. All we have to do is ask for help.

Every day, I pray to the Creator asking, “May my mind be your mind. May my thoughts be your thoughts. May my words be your words. May my hands be your hands. May my heart be your heart. May my feet be your feet, taking me where you need and want me to go. May your faith, hope, love, wisdom, compassion, understanding, mercy, forgiveness, healing, joy, abundance, peace, optimism, positivity, creativity, humour, playfulness…may all good things…flow through me from you for my highest good and the highest good of all who you are calling me to serve. Please and thank you. And please remove anything that is keeping me from you.”

Let us ask ourselves, “What do we want to create?” And then with the help of Spirit, our guides and light workers, let’s do it! One step at a time. One day at a time. With God, all things are possible!

This empowering message from Holy Anger – Be The Change was for anyone who happens to read or listen to it. Now, let’s make this more personal. I invite you to tune into your intuition. Let go of all worries and distractions, just for this short time.

13 - All the Willows Know Your Name

Essential meaning: being witnessed and seen by another, being understood, the flexibility of healthy relationships, interdependence

It’s such a beautiful feeling to know that you are truly seen by another or by a whole community. When you are known, accepted, and witnessed by others, you have a wonderful sense of connection and communication. You feel the grounded safety of belonging.

These are the kinds of relationships present in your life now, and they provide you with plenty of room to grow. This sense of connection rises from a space of transparency, honesty, trust, and radical self-acceptance. You naturally invite others to see you as you see yourself, in the fullness of your expression. When you shine, it comes from a true desire to share, and that is compelling and attractive to others who can appreciate you.

Know that right now you are seen, witnessed, respected, appreciated, and accepted. You don’t have to look for approval, for you already have it. Remember that you shine on behalf of the Divine! And isn’t it amazing that all the Willows know your name? Doesn’t that feel good?

North Node - Step out of your comfort zone

There’s a strong feeling when you get this card that it’s time to leave the past behind somehow, because you are headed in the right direction. If you want to be happy and fulfilled, you need to get going towards doing the thing that scares you (within reason!). This card is all about living your life-purpose, which is possibly what you’ve asked about. It’s urging you to dare to do something different with your life and your direction, to take action. So are you willing to follow through and lead the life you incarnated to live? If you finally find the courage to make the leap, there’s a good chance you’ll come to ask yourself, “Why did I wait so long?”

Attune to the Moon: I know I’m headed in the right direction.

Additional meanings for this card:

You’re headed for something which feels like “destiny”.

You need to face a fear and get over it.

Time to stop obsessing about someone or something.

Stand on your own two feet.

You’ve got this!

The teaching: The North Node is where the Moon crosses the ecliptic going north. It’s a karmic point and on the horoscope chart shows us what we need to do and where we need to go with our life to find satisfaction, fulfillment and happiness. The North Node is the karmic astrological point that reminds us – to paraphrase André Gide – that in order to discover new oceans, we have to be prepared to lose sight of the shore.

I'm told that with this deck, we can be sure that whichever card is drawn, no matter which phase the Moon is in on that day, it's the right card for us. The interpretation of the card that we're given is still the answer we need to hear. These cards are purely symbolic representations of the many energies that we get from our ever-changing Moon.

14 - Earth Spirit – STABILITY

In the lazy quietude of a warm summer afternoon, you recline on the soft moss on the forest floor and listen to the heartbeat of the earth. Her rhythmic cadence surges up from the ground beneath you. With each beat, you remember who you are and what is truly important in life. The strengthening, grounding energy of the earth is filling every part of you.

It’s time to take measure of your life and put your roots down. Assess who you are and where you are. Make plans for the future, but don’t act on those plans until you feel secure in stepping forward. This is the time of preparation and going deeper.

This card can also indicate that you aren’t grounded and you need to create more stability in your life. Think things through before you take action. Take time to plan your future carefully. Don’t rush into anything. Strength is growing within you. Security and protection surround you. You are safe. If you’re thinking of making secure financial investments and receive this card, it’s telling you that this is a good time to do so; it’s not a time to take risks.

The Earth Spirit provides the trees, plants, flowers, rivers, streams, oceans, mountains, and valleys, and supports us all with her bounty. She’s stable and strong in her devotion to us. You’re supported and loved, even if you’re not always sure of it. The seeds that you plant now will bring abundance in the future, but only if you take the time to nurture those new beginnings.

The Spirit of the Earth says: Be present in the moment. Slow down and let go of the busyness and frenetic pace of life. Explore your roots. Honor your past. Go deep. Reflect on your life.

May these interpretations be a guide. Allow understanding to unfold within you. Honour your individual wisdom from within over the coming week, as you open yourself to the message of the card that you have picked. Stay open and curious, and listen to the still, small voice from within that you can always rely upon. Trust Spirit!
