Full Blue Moon in Aquarius conjunct Jupiter, and our Sun enters Virgo

August 22 at 8:02 a.m. EDT, we welcome a stunning Full Moon in Aquarius (the visionary, innovation, humanitarianism), also known as the Blue Moon because this summer we will have 4 Full Moons instead of 3, and the third Full Moon of the summer season is known as the Blue Moon. This Full Moon is particularly special too because it is the second consecutive Full Moon in Aquarius, the first one being on July 23, AND it is conjunct optimistic Jupiter, the planet of expansion, abundance and opportunity. And, lo and behold, our Sun moves from fiery, dramatic Leo to methodical, perfectionistic, earthy, truth-seeking Virgo. An auspicious day indeed!
