I Bless the Endings, Grateful for the Lessons

On December 29, our Full Moon is in Cancer and our Sun is in Capricorn. Can you feel the push/pull? Capricorn is about career, reputation, accountability, the public life. Cancer is about home, family, safety, security, nurturing, domesticity, our ancestry, our foundations, the private life.

This Full Moon invites us to find the balance between the two. The Full Moon is a time of harvest, of culmination of that which was started at the New Moon. It can be an emotional time, a time of romance and relationships. This Cancer Full Moon is likely to fill us with kindness, the spirit of giving and nurturing, and perhaps the craving for home and all its comforts.

It's a time to see the truth and make a new start. The real work is to embrace the truth that our heart wants us to know, to love it and make peace with it without shame or condemnation. Our shadow may hold the parts of ourselves that we don't like, but it also holds our wild, bold, fiery, powerful side, that part of us that wants to be set free. This is a crucial time to listen to our heart and soul and be open to the Love of the Divine.

This Cancer Full Moon may also bring to light how we are nurturing or denying what our soul needs. Be sure to take the time to nurture yourself with the simple things. This is also the time to give the greatest gift of all...You! Your time, your love, your presence is the greatest present that you can give, to yourself or to someone else.

It's all up from here as I bless the ending, grateful for the lessons I have learned that can free me from patterns that no longer serve me. I allow my circumstances to end with grace as I know something better can appear at any time. I am thankful that from now on, I can respond differently to any challenging situation.

Amen! Bless the lessons that we have learned, especially in this amazing year of 2020! Though we may be anxious to leave it behind, it is important to reflect on lessons learned, finding the treasure in the challenges, and to be grateful. Hindsight is indeed 2020. <G> Especially this year. Let us remember, "The past is our lesson. The present is our gift. The future is our motivation."
