Our Balsamic Pisces Moon: Prepare for the New

On March 9, our Pisces Moon entered the balsamic Moon phase (also known as a waning crescent), and it will be here until it moves into total darkness, the New Moon phase, on March 13.

The balsamic Moon phase is a time when our Moon retreats into almost total darkness. It brings with it an urgency to complete unfinished business. It's a time to go inward, to prepare for the new. It's about releasing and being receptive, about letting go of the past and the things that are no longer serving us, in order to reclaim our personal power. It's a time of transition, release, transformation, renewal, death and resurrection. This is a time to learn to affirm ourselves instead of seeking it from the world around us. It's a time to turn to our Higher Power, angels and spirit guides and let them lead the way.

There is a "Yes!" coming your way. This is one of the most auspicious cards in the deck; it's totally positive and suggests something new and exciting is developing. The situation you're asking about is blessed, and you are on target to achieve your goals. The message from the Universe is that you're starting over again in some way, be that on a new or better course or just feeling more positive about achieving your desired outcome. If you've been feeling stagnant, this card reminds you that life goes in cycles and you're moving into a new cycle now. This is the time to wipe the slate clean. If the situation you asked about has become toxic either that will clear up now or something totally new and fresh is on its way.

Okay, Lord, there must be some mistake. Didn't we just have this card? Yes we did. On March 7. I almost wanted to put it back in the deck and shuffle again. But no, trust in Spirit. <G> So, in case we missed it or in case we needed the reminder, here it comes again. A new start is coming, and yes it is...New Moons are a time of planting seeds and new beginnings. And our astrological new year begins when our Sun moves into Aries on March 20-21. May this time be one of excitement, hope, anticipation, faith, trust, and joy as we travel along life's journey. This moment is a time to prepare for the new and to turn to our Higher Power, angels and spirit guides and let them lead the way.
