Our Capricorn Moon: A Time For Healing
*
On April 30 our Moon moved into hard-working, responsible, efficient Capricorn, a time to focus on duties and responsibilities, giving us a strong sense of fulfillment in our accomplishments, and it will be here until May 2 at 3:31 p.m. EDT when it enters Aquarius.
*
We may feel a bit conflicted as our Moon is emotional and sympathetic and Capricorn is more unemotional, distant and solitary. We can use our Capricorn energy to our advantage though, staying focussed on our tasks and not get as easily distracted by our feelings. Our Capricorn Moon gives us determination, resourcefulness, competence, ambition and the persistence to attain it.
*
With our Moon and Pluto in Capricorn, and our Sun, Mercury, Venus and Uranus in Taurus, we have a lot of earth energy in the heavens. It's a great time to get things done.
*
And so I asked Spirit, along with the help of Archangels Haniel and Gabriel, who are associated with the Moon, "During this time of the Waning Gibbous Capricorn Moon, what do we need to release?" and was gifted with...
Balsamic Moon - A time for healing
*
Pulling this card suggests that the past is in the past and a bright future is beckoning. However, before you take your next step, make sure that both you and the situation feel healed - this is not the time to paper over cracks or to simply pretend that everything is okay. Rather, you still need a little more time to heal and to soothe both yourself and anyone else in need. Then remind yourself that anything is possible if you believe it. This is also a time to surrender and wait to hear guidance from the Universe. Powerful insights can be had. If you know that someone or something really isn't good for you, this card is a reminder to surrender. Start to work on your belief in your dreams so you're ready when the time comes.
*
Attune to the Moon: When one is healed, all are healed.
*
Additional meanings:
*
It's time to let go of the past.
You are about to turn the corner.
You need more time to heal.
Think about how this situation would look if everyone were healed.
*
The teaching: Patience is required at the time of the Balsamic Moon. It's a time for self-care as you slowly but surely prepare yourself for the New Moon, which is just around the corner. No matter which point in the current Moon cycle you have pulled this card, it's a reminder to go a little bit easy on yourself. The time to step into your creatrix power will come soon enough. Give yourself the time you need.

Ah, so though we may feel that we're ready and raring to go and forge ahead, that the past is in the past and a bright future is beckoning, this card suggests that before we take our next step, make sure that both we and the situation we are in feel healed. Just as our last two cards (No! and Radha - Soul Flame) have reminded us, this is a time to go within, reflect, take time for self-care and self-love. It's a time to experience relationship harmony and healing with ourselves and with others. When one is healed, all are healed.
*
I'm told that with this deck, we can be sure that whichever card is drawn, no matter which phase the Moon is in on that day, it's the right card for us. The interpretation of the card that we're given is still the answer we need to hear. These cards are purely symbolic representations of the many energies that we get from our ever-changing Moon.
