Our Capricorn Moon and the Unconditional Love of Dog as our animal guide

Our Moon is in Sagittarius and will enter Capricorn on Sat. April 3 at 4:14 a.m. EDT. It's a great time to focus on some of the best traits that Capricorn has to offer – tenacity, resourcefulness, discipline, wisdom, ambition, prudence, constancy – and consider how to positively incorporate these qualities into our lives.

With a Capricorn Moon, achievement and success, and duties and responsibilities may become more important to us, inspiring us to work hard and to overdo. Acutely aware of the limitations of time, we don't want to waste it and may end up taking on more than we should. Making a list and setting priorities may help us to take good care of ourselves, not overdo, and better achieve our goals. Remember, one step at a time.

We may feel a bit conflicted as our Moon is emotional and sympathetic and Capricorn is more unemotional, distant and solitary. We can use our Capricorn energy to our advantage though, staying focussed on our tasks and not get as easily distracted by our feelings.

The Dog is the most loyal animal to human beings. When the Dog appears on your path, he reminds you of this trait. Are you steadfast with your loved ones? Are you true to yourself and your dreams? Do you act with sincerity? It's very important that you do so now, for good fortune comes with the faithful Dog as your companion.

The Dog loves sincerely without conditions, and is happy to be part of a pack. Think about how you function in your community - are you a loyal team player?

Another issue the Dog asks you to consider is the loyalty of others. If someone is being insincere, move on because he or she isn't meant to be in your pack.
