Our Scorpio Moon: The Invitation to be Vulnerable and Authentic

February 4, our Moon continues its journey through intense, passionate Scorpio who loves to dig deep, and our Sun is in collaborative, freedom-loving Aquarius who loves to explore new ideas and to express one's individual value to society!

Though we might think these signs are total opposites, this Water-Air energy is perfect for each other! Using the power of these energies, we have a meaningful, effective way to express our deep thoughts and emotions, giving us a powerful way to let go of the ideas, memories, feelings that may be holding us back, limiting our growth, making us as sick as our secrets. It's time to let go of the ties that bind, the things that weigh us down, the burdens that we carry, the things that are no longer serving us. Writing, journalling is a valuable means to accomplish this.

Our Scorpio Moon invites us to have courage, to embrace our truth, to be open to transformation. With Moon in Scorpio, intense emotions can come to the surface. We may feel very vulnerable, and want to withdraw. We may also find our intuition to be strong. Feelings that are normally hidden could erupt at any time. Scorpio Moon encourages us to ask the hard questions, to risk conflict or rejection, to be true to ourselves and get to the truth. This is an opportune time to dig deep into our emotional depths, to feel and express those deep feelings.

This just may be the time to lean into the talkative Aquarius energy that could help to make it easier to express our deep feelings. Reach out and call someone or talk things out with a trusted friend. Let us embrace these healing energies and let the beauty of our light shine for all to see!

18 - Moon - Illusion

I may not see the working of Spirit in the invisible realms, but I know there is great activity "behind the scenes." It's important to trust the mystery and remember that the material realm is an illusion. Current conditions are not necessarily a reflection of the truth of what's really going on in the present. Great opportunities lie in the shadows, awaiting the perfect time for illumination.

We may need to go into the dark to see what is being illuminated by the light of this Scorpio Moon. Dig deep. Feel. Express. With love. Trust the mystery. Trust Spirit.

We're also in our Last Quarter Moon phase, known as "crisis in consciousness". As the Moon is completing its cycle, heading more into darkness, we are in a process of re-orienting who we are and where we belong. Because the Moon is not reflecting much light from the Sun, it is up to us to rely on our inner light to guide us. As we honour and accept our uniqueness, it's important that we allow ourselves the time and space to listen to our intuition, and learn to let go of the past. We need to sort out what works for us and what doesn't. This will prepare us for the New Moon on February 11 when something new is born once again.
