Saturn square Uranus: Creating a Legacy in partnership with Spirit

Wednesday, February 17, Saturn forms a square with Uranus, the first of three that we will be experiencing this year between these two planets.

Tanaaz says, "Saturn Square Uranus - Saturn represents authority figures, rules, boundaries, and traditional establishments. Uranus represents innovation, freedom, change, and escaping from our comfort zone. ... Saturn will want to control. Uranus will want to go with the flow. Saturn will want to impose boundaries and structure, Uranus will want complete freedom to roam wherever it pleases. These two energy dynamics will clash, and we may see it manifesting as rebellion, revolution, change to traditional structures, controlling freedoms, or the breakdown of the old.

On a personal level, this energy may help us to break free from things that have kept us feeling held back. We may notice a stronger desire to innovate, to do things differently, and to find new roads to travel. ... The old ways of doing things may no longer serve us, inspiring us to get creative in order to come up with a new way. ... Old thoughts and beliefs that we have held about ourselves or the world may crumble. As we allow old thoughts and patterns to fall away, we may find ourselves being more curious and open-minded. We may even find ourselves getting better at balancing structure and a routine, and making time for spontaneity and creativity. Depending on where we are on our journey, we may find that we need more of Saturn’s wisdom or more of Uranus’s wisdom."

Affluence, material abundance, mastery, financial security, inherited wealth and knowledge

I am now able to step back and observe the results of what I built through my dedication and hard work. I claim ownership of the castles I built that have taken form in the material world. I have achieved mastery and inherited treasures of knowledge and experience thanks to all I have been through. I smile appreciatively at my run of good fortune.

We do have much to be grateful for, especially when we take the time to reflect on all that we have created and accomplished in our lives through our hard work and dedication, co-creating with Spirit. There's a sacred quality to this card because we are leaving something as an inheritance for others. Even though we have inherited our beautiful world to live, work and play in, we are also creating things that will touch the lives of others and impact the rest of the world. We need to take pride in what we have created, recognizing our partnership with Spirit. Everything that we do is a result of this amazing partnership.

Saturn square Uranus may be inviting us to be open to new dreams, new innovations, new freedom, new creations...all in partnership with Spirit. What is the legacy that we want to leave behind?
