Super New Moon in Scorpio and Happy Diwali, The Festival of Lights!

On November 4 at 5:15 p.m. EDT, our Sun, Moon and Mars are holding hands in intense, passionate Scorpio and they are opposite Uranus in Taurus and square Saturn in Aquarius. Powerful energies indeed! And all of this is happening as Diwali, the 5-day Festival of Lights, begins.

Our Scorpio Moon invites us to have courage, to embrace our truth, to be open to transformation. With Uranus in Taurus, revolution is at hand. Something we've never considered could turn our life upside down. Though this is a dark Scorpio Moon some deep truths may be illuminated, making it impossible to ignore them and to continue living the way we have been. It's time to let go of what is no longer working for us. Have courage!

This is a time of self-reflection, self-care, being honest with ourselves, being true to ourselves, being responsible for ourselves. With our New Moon and warrior Mars in Scorpio, intense emotions can come to the surface. We may feel very vulnerable, and want to withdraw, but the warrior energy of Mars will not allow us to retreat. We may also find our intuition to be strong. Feelings that are normally hidden could erupt at any time.

Scorpio Moon encourages us to ask the hard questions, to risk conflict or rejection, to be true to ourselves and get to the truth. It can be a passionate time where we are invited to dig deep, to consciously and intentionally revisit our wounds, review the things that we need to heal, and let go of what is no longer working in order to reclaim our personal power.

Krishna is a Hindu god who in known as a Mahavatar (great avatar) and embodies divine wisdom. One of India's best loved gods, he is an approachable, kind, loving and supportive guide. He is often depicted with a calf or lamb, which is a symbol of innocence, and a peacock feather on his head, which is said to honour the divine feminine.
