The Art of Channeling

G'day, everyone!

A couple of months ago, I started inviting my spirit team (angels, ascended masters, loved ones in spirit) with me on my walks with my earth angel, Willow, and we'd talk, or rather I'd talk <G> and ask what do I need to know today for my highest good? And I'd get thoughts or insights along the way. Yesterday, when I was out for my walk and watching Willow, the words "joyful expectation" came ever so clearly. She's teaching me all the time. Yesterday as she always does, she turned to me with that beautiful smile and joy in her eyes, expecting that delicious treat I had for her. I have been praying and wanting to manifest certain things, and here was the message, "joyful expectation". In other words, your prayers have been heard and have already been answered. All in Divine timing. :)

I just started a new workshop with Channel Sara Landon and Mike Dooley called "The Art of Channeling". Channeling, you say? Yes. For those not familiar with it, Sara explains it really well on her website...

Demystifying Channeling

Sometimes spiritual terminology can be confusing or seem ungrounded.

If you are reading this, you almost certainly believe that there is more to life than what you experience with your physical senses. Perhaps you think of your unseen energy as a soul or higher self and that of a greater power as God, Source, or another name that resonates with you, or maybe even as an unlabeled being.

No matter what terminology someone may use, the non-physical forces moving in our world are known, felt, and expressed in a wide variety of ways. One of these is known as channeling.

Generally, channeling refers to the translation of higher consciousness and a greater perspective into language. It is a means by which non-physical energy communicates in our physical world. While not everyone deliberately receives infinite intelligence and translates it into words, that experience is not unlike many common occurrences in daily life.

Everyone opens up to broader perspective in unique, personal ways. There is no requirement of a specific process or even of the conscious awareness of what is happening! You do not have to meditate to get into such an expanded state, and you need not live on a mountain top to have a spiritually rich life.

At the heart of channeling is the ability to open up to something more than the limited human self. This happens in countless ways for us all the time and is often easy to recognize in creative expressions like writing, painting, dancing, and all artistic mediums. Such creativity is frequently referred to as inspired when it clearly seems to come from a much grander viewpoint.

Another great example of this occurs when athletes are in the zone. Still, there are many other instances of people opening up to a higher state of being that are easy to overlook because they are so normal.

Can you think of a time when you were just in the flow, when it felt like your day was magical and everything unfolded perfectly without any effort on your part?

Have you ever said something to someone that you know was brilliant but you had no idea where it came from or how you knew it was the perfect thing to say?

What about creating a delicious meal without a recipe or even a plan and having it turn out to be one of the best meals you have ever experienced?

Do you ever move through traffic so harmoniously that it is as if some part of you knows what all the other drivers are going to do before they do it?

These may seem like frivolous examples, but they illustrate that we are readily connected to our higher selves and the energetic source that we truly are. Channeling is merely allowing that aspect to express freely through us, and it really is a very normal thing.

Whether you clearly identify with any of these experiences or terms is not important. You can live in full connection with all that you are, a master in this modern world, without any labels.

Sara mentioned how important it was to journal by hand. I used to do that. I prefer using my keyboard now and saving my daily messages in a document because I can copy and paste it if I'd like to share it and I find that my hand gets cramped and my writing gets messy. I was going to follow my routine anyway, and then decided, no. It's time.

Well today would have been my husband's 72nd birthday. He passed away in 2014. I had retired the year before. And I was left with, now what do I do? How do I serve others? I was led to oracle cards and astrology and most recently Mike's "Love Your Life 30 Day Project" and became a certified Infinite Possibilities trainer and trailblazer.

In 2017, I started my own business, "Finding Treasure: The Journey Home", named after my precious pup, Treasure, who passed away earlier that year. Pups are the best teachers! :) Since then it has grown and evolved, sharing inspirational messages and teaching, but sharing more of others' work and just a bit of my own. Acting more as a resource and trying to support, encourage, and uplift others. Not a lot of clients, that's for sure. Busy, busy, busy, trying to manifest and attract abundance, to be of service to others, while knowing in my heart that Spirit will lead people to me...all in Divine timing. Feeling like there was always something more that I had to do to help make it all happen. Praying for the wisdom and guidance, and more recently I'd keep getting the message to just BE.

Using oracle cards and asking "What do I need to know today for my highest good?" was and is great...so many A-ha moments and confirmations, but again, using something outside myself to connect to Spirit within me. It's fine, but I've known for awhile that I have everything that I need within me and that I need to be still and listen. And to do it for me, not for others, though I may end up helping someone in some way. I have always been taking care of others and find it so difficult to take care of myself.

Today it was time...to write again, by hand. To listen and just BE. So here is this morning's channeled message...

It's about time, my love. You have been running and doing, doing, doing for far too long. Avoiding the stillness and the silence, filling it up with so much noise and busy-ness.

Breathe.

Be still. Relax. We've got you. You truly do have everything you need.

YOUR words are important.

Yes, we speak to you through the stars and the cards, and that's all fine and good, but there is so much MORE and it all begins with you.

When you allow.

When you listen.

When you just BE.

You've known this for so long.

Now is the time...do it for YOU!

You are so loved, so precious, and adored.

Just as you are.

Trust. Have faith. We are with you.

Beyond space. Beyond time.

Precious and adored. Beyond measure.

So loved, my Beloved.

Precious and adored and loved beyond measure.
