Under the Light of Our Pisces Moon

Under the Light of Our Pisces Moon

*

April 7, our Moon enters Pisces at 4:30 p.m. EDT and will be here until April 10. With our Moon in dreamy, intuitive Pisces, it's a time when we are especially sensitive, and our imagination and intuition are strong. It's important to listen to our gut. It's a time of inner, spiritual work, making it a great time to go on a retreat or at least take some time to meditate. It's also a great time for music, drama, all things creative and imaginative, as well as water activities. If we're with family or friends, Pisces gifts us with the opportunity to be sensitive to others and serve with kindness.

Our Pisces Moon is in the balsamic Moon or waning crescent phase, a time when our Moon retreats into almost total darkness. It brings with it an urgency to complete unfinished business. It's a time to go inward, to prepare for the new. It's about releasing and being receptive, about letting go of the past and the things that are no longer serving us, and turning towards the future, being ready to welcome the gifts that it will bring. It's a time of transition, release, transformation, renewal, death and resurrection.

For April 8 Cafe Astrology says, "Mercury is approaching a conjunction to Chiron, exact early tomorrow (April 9), and while revelations can be messy, this influence opens us up to learning and healing. It encourages us to open our minds and learn from one another and our circumstances. Sudden awareness spurs us to grow and improve. We are incredibly open to new ways of looking at problems or life, in general, and we’re more sensitive than usual to communication nuances. We’re likely to discover creative ways to solve dilemmas, particularly those that may have been holding us back from personal growth."

AstroButterfly adds, "Some old memories of past hurts may resurface during this transit; instead of hiding away from them, take this opportunity to understand yourself at a deeper level. These old hurts do not define you, yet they are part of you, and of your personal story."

*

And hold onto your hats on April 9 as Mercury forms a semi-square to Jupiter, and Mars forms a square to Neptune, and the Pisces Moon will be void of course at 7:48 p.m. EDT until it moves into Aries on April 10 at 2:11 a.m. EDT.

And so I asked Spirit, along with the help of Archangels Haniel and Gabriel, who are associated with the Moon, "Under the light of this Pisces Moon and the powerful energies of the Heavens, what do we need to know for our highest good?" and was gifted with...

King of Fire

Spiritual influencer, creative inspired leadership

*

"When I am aligned with Spirit, I am a powerful leader who inspires others."

"My mastery benefits others as I teach them, directly at times, and indirectly at others, modeling what they might aspire to."

"How can I be confident in my own abilities and vision without becoming rigid or closed off to new ideas?"

from Colette Baron-Reid's "The Good Tarot" card deck

*

Colette writes, "The Suit of Fire relates to the way we act, the results of our actions, and where our intentions could lead us if we act in accordance with them. It represents our passions, ambitions, and motivations turned into action. We're asked to remember that we are powerful co-creators and need to act in accordance with our deepest intentions for the highest good of all. If we are creative beings, how best can we align with our Higher Power and use our connection to Spirit to co-create what serves the highest good and leads to the best outcome? How best can we use our passions to ignite positive, purposeful action and illuminate the way forward? Can we steward our power wisely? That answer is yes if you're willing to allow the Suit of Fire to reveal your co-creative partnership with Spirit."

The King of Fire is that sovereign part of us that is inspired leadership. It's about being that spiritual leader; being a model for others; it's about commitment and showing up. The King reminds us of our purpose, calling us to center ourselves, to get grounded. It is from this heart center where we will have the clarity, the confidence, the knowing of who we are, co-creators with Spirit, and then we are able to take action from that peaceful center, saying with confidence, "I've got this!" Working with this dreamy, intuitive Pisces Moon, let us listen to our heart, and using the creative, imaginative energies, envision the infinite possibilities that are available to us and others as this watery Moon gifts us with the opportunity to be sensitive to others and serve with kindness. We know we walk with Spirit as our guide, our protector, our inspiration.
